My grandpa would talk about "little boy said, to do this, little boy said to do that," talking about various officers, and laughing kind of at the irony of it. I realize it was his own double entendre to do with certain people in the different types of service he was in, and their naïveté in coordinations of things, and lack of awareness of just what they were actually doing, in terms of feeling any responsibility. It irritated my aunt to no end when he would talk about the cavalry and "what the various little boys said" as time went on and switched from horses to other machinery, and tactics.

When this child was born, we knew we had two realities, the first we live in, the second awaiting us...!
