ОтветитьThank you, sir! Very good explanation :)

ОтветитьI'm not very good at understanding the notation etc, but I landed on this video because I'm curious if you can apply the idea of computational reducability to trading in the market. In trading, if you want to make a profit, you have to have some "edge." Aka you must have some information or system that gives you an advantage over the masses of other traders. I think that in some sense, the "edge" boils down to finding some local pocket of computationally reducible complexity. Obviously, we cannot reduce the complexity of the whole market down to any kind of algorithm that is simpler than the whole system, so in order to find an edge you must find pockets of local reducibility. So the million dollar question is, how do you find these local pockets of reducible complexity? I'm trying to think through the implications of this video in those terms. I'm curious if anyone has any thoughts on that.
ОтветитьYou're a legend, Thanks a lot!

Ответитьyou are great at teaching
Ответитьthanks for the explanation, do you have somewhere more examples for Reduction? i have H.W. but i find it hard to understand when i can do the mapping reduces and when i can not, i feel like it is a guessing sometimes
