Wonder why God did not give her and her husband a child or children 😢 Nancy would have stood up for preborn humans, many of whom are slaughtered.
ОтветитьThe last story makes no sense. It said the police raided the house where the murderer lived but then it said he died years before, in the car with his mum? Did I miss something here?
ОтветитьSome producer please make a movie about this extraordinary woman, what a story!!!! Sounds like box office gold to me the right cast. Who to play Nancy?
ОтветитьAmazing woman. Never piss off an Aussie.
ОтветитьI have read many stories of such bravery but wow this lady was something else. What a girl. So brave and I can not find the words to say what needs to be said. So pleased she managed to not get caught. I salute you Madam.
ОтветитьIncredible woman. I really enjoyed this. ❤❤
ОтветитьNancy was Maori/Pakeha and unfortunately did not have a great childhood, her father left and her mother was neglectful. Despite all of that she was extremely brave in her fight against the Nazis. Definitely someone I look up to when I think about the ongoing fight against fascism
ОтветитьRead her book, loved every page. Sadly Nazis fascist are still common today, we need to always be on our guard against this evil.
ОтветитьThat woman a legend and needs to be talked about more in media
ОтветитьHer story would make a great movie.
ОтветитьAn amazing woman during a time of war.
ОтветитьLazy AI content and computer voice. Boo. No sub. No share.
ОтветитьThey do not make them like her anymore ❤
ОтветитьI admire our grandparents generation, in these times it would have been dead tough! Literally survival at its core! They were survivors and fighters ❤
I was lucky enough to ask my granny her perspective of these times. She was living in Wellington NZ and was in an orphanage. they would do drills and make their ways to the many hills of Wellington to hide out . She also told me once that she would have clung to the bottom of her bed (being under it lol)
I miss story's like this and respect the remaining hero's of this generation ❤❤ and those that have past ❤
Vera Atkins and her boss were not accomplished to be in charge of all of these brave defenceless resistance fighters. They have a lot to answer for.
ОтветитьWhat an amazing human being ❤
ОтветитьI would be interested to learn if she ever came through Gibraltar when leaving France and making her way through Spain?
ОтветитьHow is not a movie about this lady 😮😮😮
ОтветитьWhat an incredible story!! Great video!
ОтветитьWhat we need nowadays is someone to outwit the Enlightenment' s network before it's too late.
ОтветитьRespect !!
ОтветитьVery much the same story of Vaginia Hall and her dog???
ОтветитьThis cud looks like Kamala Harris on steroids, Nancy Grace Harris, the CUD😊
ОтветитьThese brave brave people should be remembered and lauded. I admire them so much. Had I been alive then I would have joined the Resistance. My Dad was in the SOE, based in Ceylon during WWII, he too, was fearless.
ОтветитьCONGRATULATIONS NANCY WAKE FROM WELLINGTON CITY NEW ZEALAND DARLINGS YOU ARE GOOD AT WHAT YOU DO TOO SAVE PEOPLE'S LIFE WORLD UNIVERSE TOGETHER DARLINGS
ОтветитьLOVE ENJOY THE DOCUMENTARY ON NANCY WAKE PLEASE AND THANK YOU DARLINGS
ОтветитьNANCY WAKE AN AWESOME AMAZING WONDERFUL WOMAN DARLINGS
ОтветитьWhat amazing woman. She is a true hero.
ОтветитьI met Nancy in Port Macquarie when I was a child. We had family friends who lived there and Uncle Col as I called him was a navigator on bombers with the RAF seconded from the RAAF. Nancy and Col had met very briefly during the war and when she moved to Port she would come over for a bbq and lots of drinks. She was a grand lady and very kind.
ОтветитьShe is someone who should be remembered every year . She was a very brave and courageous woman
ОтветитьI'm ashamed to say this is the first I've heard of Nancy Wake and of all her achievements; what an amazing woman. I love that even in the middle of actively fighting a war, when she had the opportunity she slept in her lace nightwear. Thank you for all you did for us White Mouse.
ОтветитьGet it right she was born in Wellington New zealand in 1912.
Yes she did live in Australia after the war but she is a Kiwi get it straight.
Story indeed
ОтветитьThe ferry company I worked for needed a name for our new ferry on Sydney Harbour, seven or so years ago. I suggested Nancy Wake, and so it was!
ОтветитьWhat a woman! 🥰
ОтветитьHow does a convicted spy get sent to a concentration camp to await execution? The narration sounds like AI.
ОтветитьCool story, but I doubt she killed a dude with a "judo chop", that was weird
ОтветитьYes there was a movie czlled Mancy Wake if I recall corrctly.usy be about😢 40 so hears ago
ОтветитьYou gave em hell, Nancy! 🫡
ОтветитьMy father was resistance,i think you where according to my father in more danger in Free France then in Paris she was a courageous woman
ОтветитьWhat a bold beautiful person she was
ОтветитьAmazing woman. God you blessed the allies with this remarkable woman.
ОтветитьI had the honour and pleasure of meeting this wonderful woman when she visited my Squadron back in 1995 (?) and was asked (ordered by my SenGo - Senior Engineering Officer) to show her around and inform her of our capabilities. She also got to see through our aircraft (F-111C's & R/F-111C's). I had not long before received a copy of her book, which I still proudly have on my bookshelf, and if i had know that she was going to be visiting, would have loved to have had her sign it. Having read her book, and after meeting her, I could sense the bravery of this woman and understand why she was so desperately wanted by the Gestapo - both her and the "White Rabbit", who they already had in custody in one of the Concentration Camps but didn't realise it. She was yet another of her generation that had "uncommon valour" in abundance, who saw an evil that had to be stopped and did whatever they could. Like the famous actress Audrey Hepburn who, as a young woman, did her part in Holland helping to rescue downed airmen and return them to England safely.
Ответитьlove french resists stories
ОтветитьWhat an absolute legend!
ОтветитьThis is the real feminist!
ОтветитьNancy Wake always claimed to be Australian, so it is totally wrong to say she is the most highly decorated "British" service woman. Many Australians in WW2 were part of the "British" forces, especially the RAF, as they considered themselves to be "British" subjects.
ОтветитьThey should made a film about her
ОтветитьYet it took thousands of allied troops along with air and sea power to win the war everyone
Did their duty!
