Waste water treatment ad. Nice, John would be proud
ОтветитьI always chuckle to myself when americans pronounce Southwark as 'South-werk'. Its pronounced 'SUTH-ək'. Great video though!
ОтветитьI got an ad for sewage technology right before this. No joke.
ОтветитьYou know more than we know you do John Snow.
Ответитьlambeth its the best (10/10) no cholera in my water
ОтветитьThe w in Southwark is silent
ОтветитьI got an ad related to Wastecorp sewage pumps right before this. How on the nose.
ОтветитьAnyone else watching during coronavirus epidemic?
ОтветитьAnyone else watching this ?
ОтветитьLook, we all know English spelling is terrible, but place names in England are the most treacherous. Please consider looking up the pronunciations of place names before recording future videos. Hearing your entirely reasonable attempt to pronounce Southwark is, because the rules are unfair, just painful. Sorry.
Or at least watch shibboleth by Sir Reginald Pikedevant.
I just got an ad for improving the sewege system in Pennsylvania.

Oh, it's painful hearing Southwark pronounced like that... it's /ˈsʌðək/ "suthuhk" with the "th" from "that" btw.

ОтветитьMaybe you could have a part of your channel dedicated to extra medical history?
ОтветитьSadly, nobody will remember this man. When you search J. Snow, all you get is GoT references.

ОтветитьThis is how a slide show should be like.
ОтветитьHi
ОтветитьWhy is it that not everyone became sick or died when they consumed the cholera-causing bacterium?
ОтветитьI still cannot believe people in S&V knowingly drew water from a river known as a sewage dumping ground -- and from downstream of the sewer, to boot! How fcking disgusting. You'd think that sickness aside, the eww gross-factor would make it a no-go move.
Ответитьif i was living back then an i heard about a man who has lived through cholera outbreaks an was going all around try to say his theory an had all the degrees snow had I would probably listen to his theory mostly cuz cholera really sounds like one of the worst ways to die
