Two plays summarize this game: 1) Geno sliding on 3rd and 9. 2) A terrible 4th and 1 throw that was the same play Dallas blew up on 4th down last year. This team isn’t that good. Those first 3 wins was against bad opponents. The defense is straight out trash like last couple of years. Looks like a 7-10 for real.

Every Geno apologist that creams when he beats the Panthers a few times is hilarious to watch. Geno still hasn't beaten a quality QB in his entire career (no, going back 10 years to find a win in a season he had a 1:2 td to int ratio doesn't count). Geno will be out of the league in 2 years even in the best case scenario.... they should have drafted a QB in the last 2 years.

Seahawks have lost their home field advantage. The entire Niners’ roster knows they can win in Seattle and do so convincingly. Thoughts of 10 wins and playoffs (playoffs!!) are not warranted. Disappointing.

The Seahawks revealed who they really are today: a team lacking an identity. There's no core, no ideology, no consistent presence. And I'm not into this rotationg captain nonsense either. It could possibly work for a team that has a really clear sense of itself and how it plays football...but we aint that yet. We're a long way off.

Where are all the Mike Macdonald is a significant improvement over Pete Carroll people !?

Are the players just that far off from learning this system? Are some players banged up and making business decisions out there? Is the coaching staff having a hard time getting traction? Seahawks need to build better in the trenches. Hopefully each year with new coaches will be better but to be honest Snyder has never been interested in building a good line. Without a good line the rest all falls apart.

McDonald is doing all he can with the players he has. Seahawks need to do better in draft and really all player personnel choices. I thought our draft grade should be about a c- this year but most thought we had earned an A- or B+. I wonder what those same people will think in 2 years. A few good picks but the rest are subpar. Same way we do with all player acquisitions.

Metcalfs cap hit is 18 mil next year, if he can’t be elite I’d trade him at his age. We knew when he came out he was a limited route runner but he’s done well despite that. If he’s not going to be a Chase, CeeDee, Jefferson game wrecker you can’t pay him 30+

This is what the Seahawks look like when they are not bailed out by Geno having outstanding performances. Honestly, he’s already more or less had the number of outstanding performances we can expect from an entire season. The defence needs to pull in games like these. This is the opportunity for the new coaching staff to show if they can turn the ship around in the locker room.

Where was the leadership? Where were the players trying to rally the team? What happened there? It could be that the coverage didn't show it but I don't think so based on how they played. I put this on the coaches and leaders on the team. Stuff happens during a game but they never felt like they gave up in earlier games. Not this one. They continued to play bad ball and sulk on the sidelines instead of rally and turn things around. If they lost but the effort was there, I still wouldn't like it but at least then you can say they are a tough team and will only get better. Not like this.

Metcalfe is the most overated player we have ever had , he gets a few TDs at the end of the season to bump up his stats but when does he ever explode when it matters when we need him..Witherspoon just a myth at the moment. Going to Seattle should be a tough job but most teams enjoy it now... Geno is the problem

Our failure and continual failure, is the inability to acquire blue chip, offensive lineman. Period.

Look at the top 10 offensive lines in the league. All have either 1-3 1st round picks, or multiple 2nd rounders. It’s very rare to find a top 10 O Line in this league without a chunky amount of 1st - 2nd round talent.

The last time Seattle had any Pro Bowler at the OL spot was Duane Brown, a former 1st round pick! Before that, it was Max Unger in 2013. Baffling.

We’ve neglected this for over a decade. Including the incredible decision to pass on Creed Humphrey.

Until we fix that issue or start building a blue chip unit, we won’t be competitive. The scary thing is, that’s probably a 2-4 year project to get there, minimum.

We could throw 59 different coordinators at geno and the results will be the same. At what point does it become he inconsistent not the oc.

The defense was also atrocious. From adjustments to tackling. The special teams was also bad, offensive line continues to be meh. We need to get our backs going. Hopefully, I've hit on everything as to not talk bullocks pointing out simply one problem

For DK's fumble to have been a turning point implies things were going well before it happened. We were crap from the beginning, and DK's fumble just piled on more of the crap.

For what it’s worth, and it’s not a real large sample size, every team that has played the Lions at least so far this year, has lost their next game. That may just be a coincidence, but it’s interesting. Good luck to your team, I like a lot of what you have on your team.
