Love what you are doing - but I don’t think the cost is accurate. You spent time picking it up, staging for sale, and your equipment you use, there must be a cost associated with the tools. I noticed a ‘helper’…. There should be an overhead cost put in your numbers as well. I am sure that you are making money, and I love what you are doing. I would want a purchaser to realize you aren’t really making $200 an hour on this set. A beginner that might want to flip furniture would need to realize you have a paint tent, sprayer, sanders, drills, nail gun and I am sure truck or trailer. Probably more than I’ve mentioned here. Those can’t all be included, but an overhead number is important. Job well done. I am hoping you are doing this for a living. You are very knowledgeable. Thank you for teaching the rest of us.

Sorry...i dont approve. Pennsylvania House was the best furniture you could get. The company is out of business. You may have ruined a piece of history. SORRY YOU DONT PAINT PENNSYLVANIA HOUSE. Refurbishing, restain to a lighter color OK, but to paint over the wood is a Big no no.. was it fibers board? i doubt it Pennsylvania House was usually all wood. I like when you paint/Refurbished older dated mostly fiberboard furniture but not solid quality wood. Just my opinion.

I have this desk! It's got all of the same trim and all the same features including the hardware. It's the kind of desk that you don't have to put against the wall that you could put in the center like an executive desk so my plan is to strip off all the veneer and paint the entire thing a beautiful shade of pink to go in my Umbridge themed office

How long are you waiting to stage after painting? I am finding that my pieces don’t pass the fingernail test after a couple days even when scuff sanding and using an all-in-one paint like dixie belle’s silk and just am wondering if I’m doing something wrong or am just not patient enough.

This is Lorraine always remember to wear a mask and gloves you should wear a protective suit over your clothes so you don't get paint on your clothes don't breathe in the paint for the primer wear a mask and gloves please always wash your hands when you are done with your project make sure you are well protected when sanding and painting and priming
