Couldnt be more happy, you literally made my day
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьThis is great news. I've been using the cortex debug extension but it's great to have an official extension. All we need now is the ability to buy some chips
ОтветитьWow! Cool! ✨
ОтветитьNice
Ответить詢問spc5 是否一樣?
ОтветитьAbsolutely love this!! Well done ST and Microsoft!
Please continue developing awesome tools for embedded developers. We love to have them!
Wow this is a blessing, thank you STMicroelectronics!
ОтветитьPlease tell me cubeide will become obsolete in future ? you stop supporting that ?
Ответитьgreat
Ответитьawesome
ОтветитьDream come true :)
Ответитьit's great i love it . i will test it . i love stm32
ОтветитьThis is cool, but your link is pretty broken
ОтветитьVery nice news, thanks you !
ОтветитьAre those stm32 boards from Aliexpress genuine MCUs?
ОтветитьThe next thing that st eco system lacks is support with examples of standard communication protocols such as modbus, canopen, websocket and ... for stm32 in stm32cube packages.
The Chinese competitor Espressif with esp32 beat you to it long ago and I don't understand why you don't work on the development of a big joint project where you add new features to make it easier for developers to use stm32.
The STM32Cube packages offer only basic examples.
It would be better if they had a package like Espressif ESP-IDF which is much richer with examples than the stm32Cube package.
I hope you will move in that direction.
All the best in further development.
Great initiative 🎉
ОтветитьThanks but We still love eclipse based IDE 😉
ОтветитьThe interviewer asked about the benefits of VS Code, I suppose in the context of STM32, and the marketing manager could not explain that to be honest. Every VS Code user knows these are the basic things. I believe the main benefit is that you can have more control over your build system where you can add more custom things quickly and also, if possible, can make use of other extensions to your benefit.
I still believe CubeIDE is very good along with other Cube tools to do STM32 development. When it comes to developing for other platforms like Zephyr, they are already mostly developed using VS Code.
Looking for STM32 extension for Emacs
ОтветитьHave been waiting for this extension for a long time. The STM32CubeIDE was getting a bit cumbersome to use and innovation was lagging. The momentum has shifted from Eclipse to VS Code
Ответитьlove vs code, plz support more
