Last Saturday, my 74 year old mom called me stupid when I didn’t know the name of a mall to where we’ve been a few times.

Even my father was shocked.

Tbh, it’s kind of a weird thing to say that about your mom being a tiger mom. Yes, most Asian parents are just that, however, you were just 6. Most of the “not seeing eye to eye” things could have stemmed from you being a child and her being a mom.

What an interesting back ground. Mother from China, Dad white American. Raised mostly by Chinese mother in the US until she passed away then raised in Japan.

There must of been a lot of pressure if you couldn't see eye to eye from such a young age.
I'm the opposite. When my dad had Parkinsons, I witnessed my mum cheat, mentally abuse and steal my dads share of the assets. She wanted him to go quickly and now I wish the same on her.
