However, the more I listen to this, the more I'm convinced it's narrated by a bot, or by a person with little experiential knowledge of Barbados, its people, or its culture. First, there is just no way that such glaring mispronunciations could be repeatedly made by anyone with even basic knowledge (or respect) of the island's culture. Mispronunciations of such common words or phrases as "Carib," Bajan," limin, "creole" and "sweet fuh days," or mis-stressing the syllables in the word, "Crop Over," is inexcusable.

Also, I couldn't help but notice that the video vilely attempts to pass of a street in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico, for one in Bridgetown, Barbados where, evidently, not a single Barbadian is featured. Furthermore, why is it "shocking" that Barbados should have a near-100% literacy rate?
