im currently researching about jimmy carter with his successes and failures and this video excited me because it looked helpful, but i was disappointed because the video gave us all these events that happened under his administration but gives the viewers no context to the events, and does not explain the importance of the events at all. i am better off just using your video to see all the events and then googling them individually instead for better information.

Shame on you to intentionally and knowing not mentioning that it was this low life bastard charlatan who paid millions of dollars to khumani to go against shah. He said it in his interview with NBC and on his book. Shame you media being the tools for these evil warmongers. Its all in record. and your prays answered? Reagan the next "bastard", paid 4 billions dollars to khomani through their agents and their pet dog khomani agreed to release the hostages right before or around the time he was elected by evil corporation. So don't you dare for a second you portrayed your governments as honest and helping. usa government since the second world war, has changed 72 countries directly or indirectly. shame on you all

Jimmy Carter should not get the blame for the Iranian hostage crisis. This was anger against the US for installing the Shah, plain and simple. It's called blowback and we should NOT repeat these mistakes again. This stupidity was something done by his predecessors. We in the US wouldn't take too kindly of another country installing their person and creating a puppet government so why do some of us JUST not get that it's immoral to do that?

Kinda like the idiot that's in the Whitehouse now... 2 fucking geniuses that are battling for the worst president in United States history

Carter was dealt a terrible hand during his term, and honestly that most likely plays a massive part in why his presidency isn’t as fondly remembered. A nearly uncontrollable onslaught of both international and internal crisises plagued him. He was one of those president who came into office at a very bad time.

You're blaming Carter for all manner of things here you should not be doing!
You implied blame to Carter for bringing peace to Israel and Egypt, because this incited the Muslim Brotherhood to assassinate the Egyptian President... what a perverted way to look at things?
And America and Britain should never have overthrown the democratic government in 1953 because of oil... what Carter should have done was intervened directly in Iran, but then also the Prime Minister of Iran shouldn't have fled either!

Jimmy Carter was the right man at the right time. He pardoned draft dodgers and help heal the nation and restore integrity in government after Watergate and Vietnam.
Unfortunately the energy crisis, inflation and international events did him in.

It’s hard to be viewed as a successful president when you’re incorruptible and a decent human being. He acknowledged himself he could’ve wiped Iran off the face of the map and won re-election but he held true to his own values.

As a Georgian and typically conservative 20 year old who voted for Donald Trump this year, Jimmy is my favorite president. I couldn’t agree more with pardoning the Vietnam draft dodgers.

I also like his consolidation of the executive branch, cutting down the size of government and making it more efficient. Creating the department of energy and department of education were very shrewd moves, even if the department of education hasn’t been implemented well since his administration. He was saddled with a democratic congress that didn’t like him because he didn’t play DC political games and this caused quite a few of Carter’s policies which may have shone his presidency in a more positive light to not be approved. His rhetoric like the Malaise speech wasnt always the best(similar to Trump but in different ways)but his policy and refusal to abuse the office of president to force through partisan democratic bills makes a good president in my eyes and his personality makes him my favorite. Definitely a top 3 PERSON we’ve ever had as president unlike our next president, wish we could get back to that civilized era of politics
