So, what's the title, and who wrote it? Is this just an excerpt or the whole thing? Is it a project in the making? THX

This story was doing okay, the Galactic Council had stagnated, remaining in the same fears and mindsets of 800,000 years earlier. That takes a remarkable lack of character that appeared to be generational. The story fails at the subject of climate change. The author just had to bring in a false ideology, too bad.

800,000 years? Unbelievable. 80,000 years? Better. 8,000 years would be more believable. 800 years, yes. Humans, if not fallen to self destruction could advance greatly. Dyson sphere? Unlikely, but great advancements and discoveries. Greater achievement in gathering the strength and intellectual power would be achievable. Humanity saving the earth and collective sharing of politics, is quite possible. Progressive and collaborative of pure research and a specific goal, absolutely.

It was a good story, but I don’t understand the point of the hit and run tactics the story wants you to think that all the aliens that were against the human joining was cause they were going to lose some influence positions of power which might be true but about some of the aliens but that’s not why I wouldn’t trust them they spent months attacking them, leaving creepy messages, then just pop off and be like oh no we were just joking

I don't think I heard anything mentioned about weapons.
