The shaky-cam here is TERRIBLE. Constant swooshes from left to right, random jerks up and down, peppered with dozens of cuts - absolutely nauseating. The setting is cool, but this either needs a) more plot or b) a shorter run time. This infinite string of coming to one crossroads after another, glancing down 3 or 4 paths 3 or 4 times, running down path to next crossroads, repeat, just isn't very compelling. Keep working at it though, you've got a great area for filming with tons of potential.

It must be somewhat true I mean the date Feb. 8th is my Birthday so I looked closer and at start of video the date of the ...................was 2017 and the date the footage was found was june of 2023, this means there was no Feb. 8th 2023. I was goind to ask if this was true or tied to the insperation to the 90's movie, I mean maybe there was a time portal or something. And dates being off like that, maybe footage was found in Feb. 2023 and then the locals got it in June or something, thus salvaged... but it could mean it was rescued in June, this what is up with Feb. That is a weird thought, like a loop if thought how that could be done, I mean you place the footage in June so that you appear in Feb.?...

I don't understand, at one point he ends up back at a hotel or something and then back in the woods but is no longer breathing heavy or anything. I've seen alot of lost footage videos and this one has something off about it

Based on the comments, this movie is really bad. But I’m a masochist. So will report back once I’ve watched it. Edit: yep it was boring. The only scared person involved in this movie is the character in the movie.

Wow! What the hell did i just watch lol spoiler alert well if your a fan of a found footage movie where theres someone pretending to be lost in a forest and hyper ventilating through most of it being chased by nothing..then your in for a real treat lol

A guy goes for a walk in the woods, gets freaked out and jumpy when he hears birds in the bushes and trees around him. You are in a forest dude, what the hell did you expect to hear? The lore that grew up around the Blair Witch Project is so intriguing, and yet in almost 30 years, no one has been able to do anything interesting with it.

This is awful... The location is nothing like the woods from TBWP, You're walking along manicured pathways and vehicle tracks in a well kept nature reserve with look-out towers / bird-watching towers, not in some backwoods nowhere. Also, the monologue is utterly inane, senseless and non-stop. Additionally, the original TBWP cut between colour and black and white because it was shot on colour video and 16mm celluloid B&W. You're just an annoying pleb with a smartphone, and it would not change from colour to black and white mid take - you'd have to stop, alter the settings and start shooting again, so you're just being very cliche and pretentious in how you try to mimic the original visuals in post production. I guess you made your own IMDB entry as well. You are deluded and without talent.

Has this guy ever been found? Why does he keep looking at th wood sticks, he goes in a tunnel, sees a light, takes an elevator, sees rooms, goes to a bathroom, waahes his face, the water was half black, someone knocks he ipen and is in the forest again.
