Hitchcocks genius is legendary, when you compare the vast majority of films made afterwards and all the technology there are few that stand comparison.

I have rewatched Rear Window, Psycho, North by Northwest, Vertigo in the last year. They are great movies but have a slower pace to modern movies but it is worth the watch.

I don't know why people don't subscribe to channels they watch, especially if you watch a few or more videos and like them, as most say it's free, it doesn't cost a thing except a click. Just do it, if you don't like them anymore just unsub.

I've never seen Psycho, not because it's "scary" or because of the hype, I can't do more than maybe 5-10 minutes of B&W films it before it hurts my eyes, I like B&W photos but films/TV give me a slight headache I guess.

I didn`t find "Birds" and "Psycho" scary until I watched them at the cinema. I had watched them for several times on TV before.

I just love that Stephen Fry did a perfect Hitchcock impression and then seconds later a perfect Jeremy Clarkson impression lol Reminds me of A Bit of Fry & Laurie when he used to do voices and comedy bits with Hugh Laurie.

Yes Psycho, and indeed most of Hitchcock's films, are surprisingly enjoyable. What I love about his filmmaking is that none of them are pretentious, they are just pure fun.

I HATE horror movies, but the Hitchcock stuff isn't really that scary.

Legend has it that during the scene where the birds attack Tipi Hedren, Hitchcock said "if one flies between your legs, grab it, because a bird in the hand is worth...".

Talking abour chocolate sauce. In the programme Vicar of Dibley (comedy) there is a scene where the Vicar (Dawn French) drinks chocolate and more besides which is hilarious. You also ought to watch the programmes end jokes, where the vicar tells a joke, and Alice a dippy verger never gets it and is so serious which exasperates the vicar. There are quite a few them and how they keep straight faces is beyond me. I think you would find them really funny.
