That fish analogy is a flawed one. For one, you also have to consider the value of fish. To us, as humans, fish are not all that important. The death of a fish doesn't make the news. Also consider that the answer given is the most simplistic and common solution for fish, not humans. It is a solution with the least resistance. Now, if you want to use humans as a variable instead of fish. The answer will surprise you. And because we are human, and place more value on a human life than, say, "a fish", then the answer can be a bit complicated.

The narrative that black people don't stick together needs to die in its current form. Every race has infighting, ESPECIALLY the white and brown races. Whites literally had a civil war and are split in almost every category currently. The brown community has literally been at war with itself for decades, to the point that they come here to escape it. We also know the Native American community was split into tribes and fought constantly amongst themselves.

If black people don't know how to stick together, how was The Underground Railroad a success, how were slave rebellions coordinated, how was there a Civil Rights Movement, how were black townships created, how was black religion hidden, how are current marches, boycottss, and protests coordinated, etc?

Honestly, the only thing blacks do, as a whole, differently is that we "play nice" with other groups and don't work to undermine other groups to get ahead. In other words, we play fair. Not saying that EVERYONE in other races is soulless and heartless, there are some caring and reasonable people amongst other races. But when looking at the heart of other racial groups in America, you can clearly see that they rely on fighting dirty. Blacks do not.

I went to Bryce Canyon in Utah. I was surrounded by White folks. I was the only Black man there. We were are friendly. No nasty looks. No smart remarks. No flinching and I felt comfortable. If anyone wanted to get down. That was the perfect time. Nothing happened. All peaceful.
