I remember this being discussed faintly many years ago when I was still in highschool. I think it makes sense but obviously people are very resistant to change.

Wonder how late these kids are staying up on their phones, computers, tvs, etc....

I've been out of school for over 25 years. I find this interesting because when I went to school we started at 8 a.m. and got out at 3 p.m. In my senior year they did away with 7th hour athletics (which gave us an extra hour of practice, for those of us who had to work), and replaced it with another class period, thus making us have to practice longer after school, then go to work. Maybe the solution is to get rid of school activities such ad football, basketball, etc. And start focusing on teaching our kids how to cope with day to day life.

Did you guys accidentally added in the same clip three times instead of including the part where they the body's production of melatonin? So kids and teens naturally take longer to fall asleep once the sun goes down then people over the age of 20 because their bodies take longer to produce sleep chemicals basically.
