I like this drama, must watch, happy end.

I think her second husband is cool & very loving. Marrying a just divorced woman is challenging, specially when the first husband only divorced her to calm her down a bit (awful move from an awful scumbag). Who in his right mind would think that this is a good plan, except drama writers?

It is also nice that the FL & heroine in this love triangle realises that the guy that “saved” her, doesn’t need to be the guy she has to follow for the rest of her life. But I do understand she needed a sense of belonging, specially when you are young & your family doesn’t care about you.

What I also like about this drama that she was very willing to sleep with her contractual second husband. I hate that prude, shy and frigid stuff. You live in a patriarchy, so your job is to have sex and make the man a papa. You better have fun & enjoy yourself.

Personally, I would loved that the second husband skipped the contractual marriage and engaged & married her for real. Then, maybe, the ignoring first husband wouldn’t be so screwed up in the aftermath.
Second husband really underestimated the situation & the first husband actions.

But, all in all, it is a well played drama, the second hubby trying to play it cool, the heroine being anxious and trying to keep all the dishes in the air, but most of all, the slow derailment of the first husband from a cold workaholic to a man whose world falls apart.

From what I understand of this drama, the FL is in fact penniless working as a hand model at a cosmetic company. And although her ex hubby, her new hubby, her family and her in-laws are all loaded with millions and billions of money, she has to sell her unborn baby for 1 a 2 percent of shares of her family’s company to have a financial plan for the future. That’s lousy, no wonder that she’s two timing, get that woman a pension plan.

This ex-husband is really a scumbag. When they were married, he cheated on the wife with another woman. Now that they are divorced he keeps pestering the ex-wife. If Yu Yuzeng loves his wife, he should cherish her instead of mistreating his wife. He is psycho. He does not even know the ex-wife is married to a nice husband and richer than him. LOL!😂😂😂
English translations of some portions of the scenes are missing. That is disappointing, as those missing translations are so important to completely enjoying this drama. Ugg!!!!😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

This is a good “Hidden/Secret Identity / Contract Marriage”-story with really good actors and a storyline that is quite funny (the sound effects contribute a lot to that feeling) but also a bit too long for my taste (the ex-husband-arc was too extensive). I did love this smart/somewhat goofy/flirtatious FL and calm/cunning/loving ML. Well, it’s definitely worth watching.
SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!!
When FL finally witnesses her husband’s (2ML) ambiguous relationship with another woman, she confronts him. In the heated debate they agree to divorce the next day. While 2ML thinks it’s good for them to separate for a short while, FL is happy to have regained her freedom and gotten rid of a cheating husband.
So the next day, FL goes to a bar and since she gets pretty wasted, she thinks that the man (ML) she literally runs into is a male prostitute. Eventually, they end up in bed together and spend a passionate night. Little does she know that the man she slept with is actually her company’s CEO and that he has only just returned to the country after hearing about her divorce.
After taking over the CEO position, ML calls her to the office and persuades her into a secret contract marriage and when FL later signs a deal with her father (who doesn’t know about her divorce) for her to give birth to a child (not specifying who the father should be) within a year, things heat up in a marriage that was only supposed to be fake - all while 2ML goes on believing that FL will return to him.
Well, not spoiling too much, this has a very happy ending.

The English subtitles half the time make no sense, but I really hate it when they just vanish altogether at what appears to be pivotal moments.

This is a really good drama. Both FL ML work well together. I love their chemistry it’s so believable. I laughed so much when FL decided if she got pregnant, she could get her shares back so she grabbed the ML’s hand so fast that is head flew backwards and then she threw him on the bed and made love that blew the ML’s socks off. Ha Ha!!! There are ups and downs that take too long to go through and for the FL to finally accept ML, but his devotion to her was undeniably present and he really loved her. Yes, I would watch again.

ML, Chen Si, is so cute - he has great facial expressions.
