I don't see the food industry better. My grocery list has been almost exactly the same for the last 6 years. Over the last four years, the total cost has increased by $100. It used to be $120 for a month of food.

The Economist is about as wrong about the economy as they were about the Iraq invasion, which they avidly supported. A couple of trillion dollars in cost, 5000 Americans dead, and a region in turmoil ever since. The American economy is close to collapse. American tax receipts won't cover the interest on the debt by 2028! Unemployment is low cos people are already working 3 jobs to pay bills. Inflation is raging and a sovereign debt crisis is looming.

Goes to show you that a high GDP per person doesn't matter if you pay all your money toward health care and child care bc Mississippi lives poorer than all those other countries.

The Dems borrowed an absurd amount, the yield curve has inverted which has predicted recessions with a 100% accuracy rate. It's only a matter of time before it rips through the economy. The federal reserve, who are independent of the Dems or Republicans are the ones who raised rates and created a soft landing for the economy. The stock market boom was mainly due to the tech sector and AI. Yes there are lots of jobs but no one wants to fill them because they're awful gig economy jobs. Yes manufacturing is coming back but that's because of onshoring due to the world flu and the private market wanting to diversify from China.

Trump has better border polices, better foreign polices, isn't woke, wants to make a department of government efficiency. He falls down on abortion and his character.

"How's she going to help me?" Is a pretty dumb statement. That's the kind of question you ask when you vote for someone in the Legislative Branch, not the Executive Branch. Maybe if people paid more attention to the people who should be managing the purse not doing their jobs the problem would be fixed. When we start getting our asses kicked in a war or our Police orichistrate another Kent State with no reprecussions then you can ask "What is she going to help me?"
