God I'm glad I'm not the only one who was scared of this film, when I was a kid I was watching thus movie by 4 years old and when I saw the barracuda for the first time and all of the sequence I cried and didn't slept for weeks now that I'm 15 I watched the movie again when I was 12, yea that long and I rewatched and I was still afraid of it even now I'm still terrified of the barracuda scene. Now I seen this i wish they added this to the film because I wonder how the movie if they. Now when I grew older I wanted to know more about coral and what happened in the sequence. But now I heard their was another deleted scene of the barracuda carrying coral and the eggs in his mouth with blood, that I would never see the movie again 😅 still holds in my special place

I really like that meeting scene between Marlin and Coral- really sweet. It's too bad that wasn't in the final film.

While the barracuda is eating the eggs you can hear children screaming in the background. It’s really disturbing to me

The one with Marlin telling Nemo the story and how Nemo vaguely remembers Coral was quite touching (as well as the “ocean took her away”) I wish they used it. It would’ve confirmed that Nemo had at least some recollection of his mother.

Same with the other when Marlin’s paranoia gets to him and he keeps checking on the outside, it’s tense but you really feel for him in that one. It would’ve worked more though if they put that after Coral’s death

This just make the experience even more depressing and somber, I LOVE IT!

I really like this version of the movie where marlin’s story is told through flashbacks throughout the movie. Putting all the pieces together throughout the movie.

Pretty sad how Marlin used to be a confident and chill fish before losing his family. He became an overprotective and nervous wreck.

So Coral died because the barracuda consumed her... I feel bad for her

The Tank Gang deleted scene explains everything to me about Gill's psychological issues. I hate Gill's dishonesty. He tells Nemo a lie of his brothers and sisters living together with him, but he has no family and unloved being stuck in the fish tank lots of scars on him. Gill is the worst character ever and he's the main antagonist of Finding Nemo. 😮‍💨

Love the shark volleyball scene, part if me wishes they kept it. That being said Finding Nemo is perfect as it is.

Imagine a third movie finding Marlin where Marlin was captured and brought to a fish hospital where the barracuda is healed by nice humans. Marlin falls into a coma or he would start a trip because he thinks that Cora could also be alive

I think the Gill lying scene could have worked if they'd made it like..him initially thinking he needs to lie to Nemo (maybe after he first tries to disable the pump and is nearly sucked into it and gets really scared). Maybe after this Gil thinks he has to coddle him a bit and can't tell Nemo the truth about his life (maybe it's quite a dark and upsetting story). But then Nemo could confront him and tell him that he knows he lied, but is ready to hear the truth, and share what happened to his mum too, and then Gil tells him the truth.

The flashback deleted remind me of Cobra Kai season 3.
In the last episode of Cobra Kai season 3, there is a climax where we see Kreese fighting against Johny and the scene is constantly cut with flashbacks where we saw younger Kreese fighting his captain.
I don’t know why but the first time I watch the episode, it reminds me of that deleted scene.

Marlin being conscious as the baracooda eats his children as he is powerless trying to defend them is so brutal like jesus it's hard to watch.

The Little Mermaid Meet Finding Nemo

I recall from a Pixar book many years ago was that on one of the early storyboards, there was originally a captain was on top of boat during the climax as the captured fish swam down tugging the net. The sketches had the captain screaming in a thunderstorm shouting others to pull the crane. The reading I remember said it was cut due to him making the scene feel like a completely different movie.

They could totally repurpose some of the deleted Coral scenes for a Marlin-centered third film.

Wow, this movie wouldve been PERFECT if it was darker. this is a little upsetting, but hey, i still absolutely love the final product
