I hope Japan remakes this...different actors, different set, but same Voltes V... This whole series is saved solely by Voltes V and its action scenes...
Actors are lame, no passion, no emotion, and more like "Konyo".. i heard samples of Japanese dubbing of this series and believe when i say this.. but Japanese dub elevates this entire show to a whole new level.

As batang 70s 80s na lumaki sa panonood ng voltes V, I am glad na nakakita ako ng live action series netong favorite ko noong kabataan ko. Kaya lng sabi ko baka ma-disappoint ako sa palabas. Yun nga, nagkatotoo ang sinabi ko. Ang lamya ng mga artista. Si Felix lng ata magaling umarte sa kanila. Ang lamya pa ng sfx at musical background. May mga times talaga na nagiging flatlined ang scene.

Kaya nga 20 episode lang sa japan.. Dami patapon na episode..

When I first heard about this, I thought...great. But when I saw it...CRAP!

A decent live action if you ask me. I love how it remained true to the anime (despite additions of some unnecessary scenes) 4/5

The action cinematics are good. Only major gripe i have with the series reboot: THE DIALOGUE SOUNDS AND FEELS LIKE IT WAS WRITTEN BY PEOPLE SUFFERING FROM CHUNIBYO, AND THE ACTORS ARE SO STIFF YOU WILL SUFFER BACK ACHES FOR DAYS.

I just watched this today. If anyone deserves praise in this, its the 3d animators. They really pulled all the stops on this one. Farcry from being realistic, but it doesn't have to be. It's not jarring and blends well with the live action scenes❤.

The acting, like many pointed out, is robotic and bland. To be fair, if tama pagkakaalala ko baguhan pang artista yung mga pilots ni Voltes V. But then again, pagdating talaga sa writing at scripts mas lamang talaga ang Star Magic/ABS-CBN and GMA's can be hit or miss at best.

Also, I wish there was more of the mech fights and less of the drama. The show is titled Voltes V after all.
