Hello! It is a very functional and clear the explanation you are giving. I have a question related to the last scenario, when you mentioned that you proceed when the way is clear it means that there are no cars coming from both sides or when it is safe to proceed?

So how does it work when two cars are facing each other, and both want to make a left turn?

Roundabouts are so much easier than a 4 way stop. 😅

Scenario: I pull up to a stop sign (2 way or 4 way) behind another vehicle which is going straight, but it is going to be stopped there for a while and I am turning right - can I signal right and pull into the "curb lane" beside it, and then turn right?

1 Question how do we know which car has right of way(where is the reference point to determine which car is on the left or on the right)

Hae so on one side stop sigh four way a car is stop but the car coming from right side hqd to make a turn towards the stop sign road so which one go first the car which is waiting at aa stop sign or a car who need to make a turntowards stop sign road,,,,canada

Two way stop if youre making a right and the guy across wants to make a left into the lane youre making a right into if theres through traffic guy making a right goes first you didnt cover that

So needed to know all way and decide who should first

If you are at a two-way intersection and you arrive second and are going straight but the car that arrived first wants to make a left hand turn crossing your path. Who has the right of way? You have both had to wait for cross traffic before either of you had a chance to go.

Doesnt really matter if you know the law chances are that with all these Illegal and legal immigrants they are just going to flee the scene anyway!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What if on a one -way stop sign intersection a car makes a full stop, then proceeds without waiting for the car that has the right of way to clear and gets hit by it from the side, who’s fault is that?

What if two cars come to a two way facing each other and they both are turning the same way. One to the the right the other left

That is completely unsafe to teach beginners to just start going at a 4 way stop if they all arrive at the same time and basically “hope for the best” 🤦‍♀️ They should wait, check to see if one of the other drivers is planning on going (or if they are all at least paying attention) and then SAFELY try to go if all drivers appear to be in agreement. I was going to show my beginner driver this video but you killed it for me less than a minute in. You really should edit that.

Great Explanations! Thank you so much. I have been driving 42yrs, and this morning at a 2 way stop, crossing a 50 mph main road, I stopped after a car across from me. They were signaling a left turn. Hours of searching after making it home safe, led to finding that 2 way stops are so different from 3 and 4 way stops. It needs to be made very clear to most casual drivers. You did that here. The point can't be driven home enough though. The fact that the other 3 and 4 ways stops are FIFO, causes so many drivers you meet in the 2 way situation, to follow that rule. So beware, even though the difference of the 2 way shows best in bad weather, being right isn't always the best way to stay alive. Making a left turn in right hand driving countries, normally changes a drivers right of way, say north-south to east- west. Progression through an intersection does not.

I just almost got in a crash because I had the right of way for pulling up first, they went ahead anyways and as I was turning almost hit them on the side… I really should’ve honked.

And the car of its left should be the next to go as that one yielded the right of way to its right-side car. Am I correct? Please help me to understand.

When arriving at a stop sign at the same time how do you proceed when you don't know the intention of the other driver? He may want to turn left but has no blinker on. Do you slowly move forward or wave for him to go first?
