ProPlugger vs Yard Butler // Which is the BEST Lawn Plugger

I used the Proplugger to fill in huge bare spots in my bermuda lawn several years ago. I haven’t needed it for lawn use in some time, but still use it for planting bulbs. Great tool overall

I bought my ProPlugger on a whim one day, and it's awesome!

I dice up sod/turf scraps with a machete on a piece of plywood to get sprigs.

Can you just mail me your Bermuda grass plugs?

That edge is legit. I’ve contemplated the pro plugger many times, but haven’t pulled the trigger. I tried using an auger bit to plant annuals,but it didn’t work like I had hoped. Maybe next year I’ll try a pro plugger

I just want to use this opportunity to say I hate St Augustine. Seems like it doesn’t work as well with these tools.

Great video. I feel like the plugs would get stuck in the shaft of the proplugger. Do you ever need to ram an iron rod through to eject them? Surely they don't just slide out like butter.

There is no smooth sexy way to jump on a pro plugger without looking like a tool. Even Brad Pitt would look like an industrial grade tool using one. But you pulled it off like a pro.
