Id honestly love to see like a lvling guide. Like idk if you would enjoy this type of content but like you start at lvl one and then show us how you progress from that to lvl 50 and beyond. Like a series of you wanted. Just a thought if you're out of ideas and wanna try that. :)
ОтветитьThanks king
ОтветитьUsed one bar since I started the game ages ago, a weird Stamina/Magicka Templar, DPS (though don't hit that hard). I just went with things that I thought made sense, like all heavy armour. Sword/board both weapons etc. Works great for PVE, but noticed the limitations as I have expanded into doing other things like World Bosses and Public Dungeons. Hence the reason I started watching your videos for tips. So all in all I think one of the key things with ESO is you can muddle along making your own mistakes, and it doesn't cost you too much. Until you want to take the game more seriously.
ОтветитьYou can likely complete the overland content without anything other than light attacks. Love the game in many respects, but I think some kind of challenge other than in vet dungeons and trials would teach people to use their skills better as well as being more fun. It has got to be a bit of shock for many people who venture into a DLC dungeon in vet for the first time. I suppose this happened when they did one Tamriel. This dumbing down has happened in most MMOs over the past decade and is regrettable, I think.
ОтветитьDid I see 205 inventory slots? How? I thought the cap was 200.
ОтветитьI too am using one bar builds that are based on yours and others I have come across... I agree with the reasons that you cite for using a one bar build.. Yet those reasons are what make your builds unattainable...
Every build you list has a monster set... To get a monster set you must complete a vet dungeon... to complete a vet dungeon you need to be in a group and be able to perform to that groups requirements - using a standard type build.. see the problem?
My challenge to you would be to create a build that does NOT use a monster build and does NOT require access to hundreds of thousands of Cyrodil pvp points, access to any other veteran, trial or end game pieces...
Make some true, solo, beginner one bar set ups..
I and many others would be very grateful.
Hey brother love the builds how about an imperial city boss farming build? Or builds??
ОтветитьI use one bar set up on almost all my characters actually only some of my guys use bar swap
ОтветитьI’m on the ps4
ОтветитьWhere are all you people when I am looking for decent and nice people to group with? 😩😭
ОтветитьFrom you guys perspective, from all One Bars setups, whats its the easest one? Pet Sorc?
ОтветитьWho uses a controller 🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьThis is just how I play
ОтветитьI would love it if Hack compared the effectiveness of each of his one bar builds.
ОтветитьI see your runnin bahrahas curse.1 of my favorite
Ответитьsup hack, nice video, started on eso this week and i was looking for a guide to follow and found one of your videos, they are awesome and very helpfull...
if you could help with some question, what one bar build do you think it has a better aoe and dps for soloing the contents? DK STAMINA or the NB STAMINA?
I never swap weapons n I do just fine.
ОтветитьThis really helps me out ty so much 😊
ОтветитьWell I think the 1 bar is good fr newer players starting out. But I think players should learn to swap bars to maximize there damage and to get into harder content
ОтветитьTy for your one bar builds. Seriously, this has helped me step up my game. Sure its not meta like most drool over but it isnt weak either. Looking forward to more from you. :)
ОтветитьI find it annoying to have to do
ОтветитьI'm currently running a Wood Elf Stam Necro with a bow and medium armor. I'm only about level 30 with her so I'm not really sure how I'm going to round this build out. My one bar is Blighted Blastbones(1/X) and Skeletal Archer(3/B) as my main class based damage sources. I also have Resistant Flesh (4/L1) as my heal and resistance ability. As for a weapon ability, I have found that Magnum Shot (2/Y) is ESSENTIAL as I am essentially a glass cannon that can't reliably deal with being overwhelmed. This is why I keep Pestilent Colossus for my ultimate. That massive AOE damage has saved my life MANY times. You may notice I didn't name my 5/R1 ability, .. I have been keeping Expunge & Modify here, but I think there is probably something I could replace this with. It is very useful when I am trying to kite mobs that try to slow me, but a health cost on a glass cannon HURTS, .. literally .. Will probably replace this with Detonating Siphon when I unlock that ability. Basic combat pattern, Summon archer, summon Blastbones, charge heavy bow attack and release about the time that the Blastbones charges. Entering combat triggers Skeletal Archer to enter combat. Summon another Blastbones, and continue with light bow attacks while backing away from approaching enemies. When they get close, Magnum Shot them away, .. repeat skills as needed, dodge roll when cornered and Magnum Shot will not knock enemies back.
Ответитьis there a one bar build for beginners melee, i was looking into the Stamina Templar Knightmare one bar build, but seems you need to get some high gear to make the build work.. is there anything more beginners, leveling not so gear depends at the start? I'm solo so crafting or trading it's not an option. just for PVE not rly into pvp. thanks
ОтветитьThank you for making videos. I used to fumble through battles in the beginning trying to learn the game. It was hard being new to any type of computer gaming, but I used to play Morrowind on the xbox when it came out and my gamer kids introduced me to playing it way back then. Fast forward to now, learning was a challenge due to it being so different and your videos helped me out quite a bit. Now that I have played for a year, I finally get the game play and understand how to build a successful character, but that does not help my slow fingers to bar swap. This grandma appreciates your content!!!!!
Ответитьhope to see soon werewolf one bar build!!!
ОтветитьDoes this apply to Xbox one?
ОтветитьI physically can do bar swapping and for more difficult content, that's enjoyable but man, sometimes I just want to roll with one bar, not having to constantly keep 4 buffs/4 dots/weaving/spammable up constantly. Yes it becomes muscle memory eventually but for doing easy content it's total overkill
ОтветитьThank you so much Hack, has a person with impaired use of my hands your builds allow me to solo most everything and to complete maelstrom arena, veteran dungeons, and sunspire with a group, and not be carried by the group.
ОтветитьI'm a little late but I was curious on some of the builds that involve 2 handed weapons you have mauls why is that did I miss something in a update I'm returning after a break
Ответитьjust getting back into this, I still don’t like how clunky it is with bar swooping, and I’ve played mmos where you have 3-4 bars on screen, using a mouse to rotate skills np ( yes I likd the old tab targeting)
So I’m looking at these one bar vids you’ve created.
I’m getting on a bit and after decades of manual labour, my mitts aren’t as dexterous as they used to be.
So thanks. 👍
Much respect just for the fact that you are catering to a mostly neglected crowd, instead of chasing the videos that might get the most views like some folks. The fact that its good advice and works well is just icing on the cake. Disabled veteran with a traumatic brain injury mess to deal with, including memory issues which make 1 bar just so much easier and less anxiety inducing. I was having such a hard time trying to keep up with swapping, came across one of your one bar builds and it changed everything for me. Thanks a ton, sir.
ОтветитьEso is a good game but they really screwed up the two bar thing by making certain abilities only last say 10 seconds.... so it turns rotation into this clunky abomination. I think if they standardized and lengthened CDs and DOT/HOT duration it would make smoother and less of a chore.
ОтветитьI use your one bar mauler build on my front bar and on the back bar I just have green dragon blood, circle of protection and obsidian shard as an emergency heal if I ever need it, I want to eventually turn my back bar into just a full healing bar and my front bar offense
ОтветитьNot going to use 2 bar ! others mmo just have 1 geant bar for all spells to spam which is way better . i even accidently put my weapon away quite often using pc xbox controller but it less hard on my chronic nerve pain and i get in panic mode to get my weapon back ! im a mag necro wish mean i cant attack anymore until i put the right pressure on the left arrow to get my goddamn staff back !so no, im not going to deal with 2 bar or switch weapon like WTF!? -.-
ОтветитьI honestly prefer one-bar - much like you mention, before ESO I had never played an MMO before. I'm tinkering with it the swap bar, but one-bar builds, such as yours, have let me enjoy the game with my predominantly solo-play style. CP 669, but I think I've only done two dungeons so far, lol. Really need to get on that to get some of the gear I want from them.
ОтветитьI dislike bar swapping in ESO for the same reason I dislike it in GW2. I prefer using the "extra functionality" for exactly that, a way to counter situations my main weapon can't. Be it CC, healing, swapping from melee to ranged or from single target to aoe... spamming the swap just to "keep buffs rolling" or "cooldowns cooling" is neither fun nor fluid to me, even after getting good at it I just disliked it.
In short I guess you can say that I don't find "busywork" fun game design. The shotgun in DOOM didn't feel good cause you animation cancelled away from your plasma rifle, it felt good cause it went boom, shredded a demon, shook your screen, tickled your ears and made your monkeybrain happy.
So thanks for the 1bar builds.
Honestly, as a long time player. I started playing years ago, and my first character was a Nightblade, but I hated the two-bar system. I tried SO HARD to enjoy the game eventually making changes to my skills. I was only using 1 bar, so I had to make the most of it so I had a strange mix of Nightblade syphoning skills and Vampire Skills! But eventually I just couldnt take it anymore and stopped playing. I loved EVERYTHING about ESO at the time....everything EXCEPT having weapon swapping FORCED upon me! But yeah it just killed the experience for me...and i stopped playing my Nightblade at lvl 42!
Well, I recently started playing again, toyed around a bit, was running a Tank Dragonknight and umm well to be frank...I hate how the game has changed while I've been away! The weapon switching isn't the only thing that annoys me now, there are other problems now! You know like arriving in Daggerfall, only to be accosted by like what was it, almost 20 quests instantly. Yeah, they really need to reduce the insane # of quest transport points at every capital. IDK y they did that maybe with each patch they added one, and they have been accumulating over time with the various extensions, but yeah they need to rethink that!
But all that aside, I'm honestly pushed to the point of quitting, because I cant figure out how to trim my abilities down to just 5. I hate it for multiple reasons, its clunky as hell, it limits my playstyle to only 1/2 weapon options, because I honestly find 2H and DW clunky while in 1st person perspective (I thought the same thing in Skyrim as well). Why the FUCK cant I have more ability slots in exchange for only 1 weapon, wtf!?!
bro you are a damn beast, i started eso and hated the thought of bar swaping just to play efficiently, but you just gave me hope
Ответить1 bar setups is how I started.
Better to do 1 bar great than mess up with two.
All my healers run a 1 bar healing 1 bar dmg setup, and they can all do 22-29k parses self buffed on the 3 mill - on my healers with just 1 dmg bar.
People underestimate the power of 1 bar setups.
Single Bar is all I play and the reason I found your channel. I have researched the one bar builds and found yours to be the most successful. I had modified to my style now but you have me the base to build on understanding rotation and skill choice. I run one bar MagSorc StamDK and Stam Warden. Often times on the warden am I ranked at the top in a Battleground when it ends. I love one bar will always and only play one and I hit like a truck with my characters. Thank you Hack this is a great channel!!!!
ОтветитьOh and if you are running one bar your 5 piece sets are critical because you need them almost like slots. Make sure the sets are “working” for you meaning doing something!
ОтветитьHack, I run your Stam DK set up heavy attack build with the Sergeants and tempest island sets and I absolutely love it! If anyone reading this hasn’t tried out DK and wants a solo or dungeon beast mode build then look up Hacks video!
My “one bar” on this build and rotation is
1) (slot )Nox Breath
2) (slot) Ven Claw
3) (slot) Brawler 2x (to get my shield going)
4) Heavy attack until 1&2 fall off then repeat
4) (slot) MoltenArmaments (50%dmg) Buff
5) (slot) Cauterize (for your self heal)
Ultimate- Take Flight or if you have it maxed Berserker’s Rage (2 hand ultimate)
This is an absolute direct interpretation from your StamDK heavy attack god video. It hits like a truck!!! A very big one! Thanks Hack you rock!
i often stick to one bar mainly like you said "complicated rotations" i play eso to relax and not having to remember at every moment to swap bars. i use games to help my mental health so when its simplified its better, and it also means playing the many different characters easier, one day I might want to play a necromancer, next I want to be a sorc and with 2 bars it makes it far to complicated
ОтветитьI only use 1 ability as I am a crafter, it makes it feel very oblivion/skyrim-esc, the 1 move is a taunt so I can do dungeons
Ответить
