same. birthdays are waste of time, money, effort, everything.
ОтветитьOh, I thought I relate because I've worked the whole day on my last birthday 🥲
ОтветитьWhen you turn 30 you had a month worth of birthdays..congratulations! Does anyone feel old now?
ОтветитьRelatable. You just reach at a certain point where birthdays are just normal days 😂
ОтветитьHIS GODDAM VOICE MAKES ME BARK
Ответитьstopped celebrating Bdays since I was like.... 20. Yeah its just so much work, I just wanna chill.
ОтветитьI'm 34; I stopped celebrating my birthday when I turned 16. It's just another day for me.
ОтветитьI don’t do whole parties but I look forward to a family member taking me out for a nice meal of my choice
ОтветитьI feel the same can be said with holiday parties. I've tried my hand at planning some family gatherings for the holidays a couple of times. Normally when the day arrived and everyone was here, I would be so stressed out that I couldn't really enjoy it.
ОтветитьJust get friends who will host for you, from the wisdom of a certain songbird, invest in great friends 😂
ОтветитьEverytime it's my bday means I gotta pay to take the whole family and their families out to dinner.
ОтветитьHonestly, I just get a pizza and some other 'special dish' for me and mom then go wander around somewhere I don't normally go for the day. That's it. That's what my birthdays look like now. XD
ОтветитьHonestly, I've never really liked celebrating my own birthday - part of just having one that falls on a popular "holiday" - but my own enjoyment of celebrating it took a noticable nosedive when I turned 21.
Not to get too into it, but "several family members pass away on your 21st birthday" changes the context of what the day means for yourself and your family. 🙃
I think that the last Bday party I ever had was when I was 11. Not kidding. That's over 30 years ago.
ОтветитьUsually I get something special to eat. I'm lucky that my job gives two days off for birthdays.
ОтветитьIm 25 and I just buy marinated chicken and drinks for my birthday. Invite couple of my friends, catch up on stuff while we barbecue.
ОтветитьYEAH. Pretty much. LOL.
ОтветитьUsually, I expect others to throw the party for me. But with how much I fantasize about wowing people with my art and stuff, the idea of preparing a party seems more like a fun challenge to me even with how heavy it can be on me. Of course, executing an idea is a different story, but still.
ОтветитьLast time i celebring my birthday when i 8/9 years old.
ОтветитьSuch a mood
ОтветитьKinda relatable, me and my family now just buy a cake (with the fav flavour and put numbered candle on it, still we do the song and we kinda enjoy it this lite version of it.
ОтветитьI've always hated birthdays but family always treats me to dinner or something. I'm thankful for that
ОтветитьI stopped being excited for my birthdays at around 18. And now at 30, I also have zero interest. I might buy myself some more fancy food. But apart from that, I just hope to get good sleep.
ОтветитьMaaaaaan i feel you bro
ОтветитьSame
ОтветитьOMG yes, it's just such a hassle to coordinate the logistics of getting together lots of people and feeding them. I'm crawling into my house at the end of the day as it is 😅, i don't need the extra work
Ответить33
Get around with brothers, sister, mom and dad.
Make pizza.
B I R T H D A Y 🎉
Yeah, you're the friend I would make a good birthday for. Either with something big or small, i just want to see them happy!🎉
ОтветитьFor me there's no parties since age 12 or so now it's just a cake and singing happy birthday with the family
ОтветитьAs a 33 y/o…I feel this
ОтветитьI feel that, man...
ОтветитьBruhhh same
Ответитьhelp im not even 25 and already dread my birthdays I just want them to be normal days
