really good video. thanks for the work
ОтветитьThis is literally the video I've been waiting for!
Would you say the 24gb and 32gb ram upgrades are worth it for photo/video editing? Especially if its memory vs ram upgrade?
If you only do photo editing at home, then the Mac Mini M4 base model is much cheaper.
ОтветитьJason, Jason, Jason! Thx for the video! :) I have a good deal on macbook pro m4 24gb ram, but I'm worried that 24gb of ram will be not enough for premiere pro. What do you think? It will be my first mac, on windows sometimes premiere pro eats 35-40gb of memory in picks for my long videos editing (even 1 hour sometimes), but I heard that macs eats ram differently... ;d
ОтветитьWhat about Windows PC'S/laptops
ОтветитьLove the energy in this video. I have a 14 inch M1 with 32G of RAM. I’m curious on the M4 air with all the enhancements if I’d be ok with 16GG or if I’d feel like I downgraded.
ОтветитьI literally just got the MacBook Air for Mother’s Day and haven’t really touched it yet but thank godddd you made a video!! Ahaha! Love it. And I upgraded from a 2015 MacBook Air 🫣
Ответитьgot my m3 macbook air for $650 new but only 8gb ram :/
ОтветитьAdobe? Hell no. Thank you!!
ОтветитьM1 MacBook 16 pro or M4 Air 16?
ОтветитьPlease do it for the MacBook pro
Ответитьsneakin that sigma bf into the thumbnail.
ОтветитьThe adobe photography plan, LR and PS with 1TB of storage, is $19.99/month or $239.88/year. LR with 1TB of storage is $11.99/month. All current plans are annual billed monthly. Still pretty good prices for two robust pieces of software with frequent automatic updates. As always this maybe too pricey to some. Hey, do you. I don't know where you got the $10/month price. It'll be nice to know.
ОтветитьI thought the photography plan is only 20GB of storage. At least thats what mine says
ОтветитьSaving for the Mac Mini as we speak. Actually hunting a sponsor too. This is solid 👌🏾
ОтветитьWould you Run Software on External as well ? or only export files and store on ssd
ОтветитьAny Mac book pro recommendations?
ОтветитьThank you for what you do. Could you make a video for color grading in da Vinci resolve?
ОтветитьThank you for the video ☺️
ОтветитьBut is it good enough for big files like a7r5 to be use in lightroom?
ОтветитьMy Lightroom went up to $15 a month
I switched over to a Mac about 2 years ago. Still learning the tricks. Your video helped. Great Video as usual. Thanks
The VONG’s Dongle was egregious 😂
Ответитьis the macbook air monitor color accurate for photography?
ОтветитьYour wallpaper looks cool. Please, can you share? Thank you
ОтветитьFor people like me that only take screenshots just to send them instantly or paste it to a document (like when i'm in an online lecture), you can set it to copy to clipboard via screenshot settings. It's pretty handy when I'm in class because I use the macbook to join the meeting and I use my iPad (goodnotes) to take notes and whenever we move on to the next slide, I simply Cmd + Shift + 4 then I can instantly paste in on my iPad notes. This doesn't save it to the macbook though so if you took a screenshot and copy a text right after, the screenshot is gone.
ОтветитьJust ordered mine to edit all the photos and videos from Japan. Did you really call out Michael in your video?😮
Ответить14” pro is the way to go; spend the extra $300-$400. The SD card slot is essential, better display/brightness, speakers, other ports, extra 256GB of storage are all worth it, especially when you travel. The air won’t cut it. Buy once & cry once. You’ll regret buying the air 🤙🤙🤙
ОтветитьI totally agree that the M4 MacBook Air is great for travel (I have the 512GB version). I also have Lightroom Classic set up but rather than storing my photos on an SSD, I upload them to my home NAS (network attached storage). I can access it from anywhere in the world as long as I have internet and the photos are then on my NAS drives in my home office, not on something that can be lost or stolen while traveling. When I get home, I pull everything from the NAS remote drives to Lightroom on my Mac mini (which has a built-in triple backup of photos).
Ответитьwhat was the Camera you had on the thumbnail?
ОтветитьCoughhh..... Mac Drive Pro. access those APFS Drives on Windows.
Ответить1100 for 8 gbs of ram..why even give a company that ridiculous sny business at all
ОтветитьThanks!
