I had a client try to bring me down in price for my services over text. I held my ground and said no. They said because they aren't working as much due to paying for school. I would love to know your take on handling this over text.

Almost all successful real estate brokers, certainly on the residential side, but you will see this on the commercial side as well, have learned to deploy pre-memorized scripts. It is the reason they have a ready answer for everything. But acquiring this "skill" has a downside. Brokers lose any ability they may have once had to actually listen. In fact, they are not even interested in listening. Further, they often lose the ability to have a sincere and genuine conversation. Garbage people.
