2016 Britannia

Very interesting coin! You have a unique voice. I mean that as a compliment. You sound like you could be a narrator on TV or something.

I love these coins. I'm buying more of the Britannia than ASE.

Very informative video. I "AM" British & still not a fan of seeing the Queen on so many coins! Such a shame they stopped striking them in Britannia silver, they are the only ones i will buy now, but very hard to find them at realistic prices this year, possibly because others have the same opinion as me.

Great information on the Britannia. Very nice. It seems like the words are frosted on the reverse.

I only have a few Brits in my little stack, a pair of 2015s and 2016s. But how can I totally say no to a decent Girl with a Kick-@ss looking weapon?

Well done Buddy!!! I love British history, especially the royal line from 1066 forward, so I don't mind seeing Ellie on them. I think she's an adorable little old lady, and I think people will miss her when they begin seeing King Charles III instead. lol.

It's a very good looking coin, I have five in my stack, I was not going to get more, but am thinking about it because of Brexit, it may have some significance.

I'm in uk and don't have any britannia's at all. the quality of the uk bullion coins in general is a real disappointment.
i may consider buying the proof versions but not the bu for now other mints are making higher quality products often at lower premiums. gueess that's one of the reasons i giving the Queens beast a miss even though the design is one of the best for ages. shame really just like rcm very risky investment but at least rcm quality is better. uk bullion graded gets poor results recently saw a beast got a ms64 that to the eye looked fine. shocking when most coins get a ms69 or ms70 from most mints and RM don't care its only bullion to them bullion that they charge a high premium for so until quality improves probably only will pickup the odd coin for my personal collection.

Britannia is a just modern version of 500 BC Greec Athena goddess of wisdom, art (civilisation) and military strategy.

Funny how those Greec still influence us 2,500 years later ...

To a student who was lecturing me that the USA was the country that established the very principl of democracy I had to tell him that "democratie" was not originally an American/English word and that demos (people) and kratos (power) were Greec for a good reason :-)
