How extraordinary it is that you had the fortune to be in the company of Mr. Andrew Peterson. I love his Wingfeather book series! I personally hold them with high regard.

You know those Ferrero Rocher things. Sort of nutty on the outside and then there is a shell but when you bite through it all, in the centre is the heart of the thing. None of these pieces make sense alone and in fact some of them just plain stick in your teeth. Yet the blend, the whole experience is lasting and leaves one wanting just one more. That's this video. A sweet bite, a sudden mixture of so much yet at the core a poem that so deliciously tells us everything about us and our God.

I could see the study through the door window and recognized it immediately from the recent episode of Godsplaining before I even saw Andrew Peterson.

What a very interesting study filled with treasure

If I had a study room like that I would scarce ever leave it.

Wish I had took that path in life where I ended up surrounded by books in my own study but alas I wasted my youth and am now a 40 something nothing with nothing that just works a job I hate with no family or friends to speak of. If at all possible I hope I do not come back to this life but if I do I hope to have learned those lessons to not end up alone.

I’m not a man, nor due I smoke a pipe, but I love books and poetry and the thought of men smoking pipes, and reading books on poetry!

Malcolm, I just had to say this. On Tuesday 22nd October my beautiful son Alfie passed away at the age of 19. He tried to take his own life last Friday and I hoped and prayed for him but sadly it wasn't enough. Even though he was so young, he was the man I wished I could have been. I loved him.
Your videos have helped me so much over the last few days and I just want to thank you.

Malcolm if I can call you by your Christian name, I wonder if you might give us your opinions on Rudyard Kiplings poem, The Gods of The Copybook Headings? I read it recently and it seems very prophetic.

I hope you are or have enjoyed my lovely home state of Tennessee. If you have a chance. I highly recommend many of our wonderful state parks. Lots of waterfalls which I find are rather Rivendell-ian, if I may.

If you're ever in Cincinnati Malcolm, drop me a line and I will show you The Mercantile Library downtown. A wonderful 19th century subscription library--sadly you cannot enjoy a pipe in there--but the collection is wonderful. The library is currently closed for renovations but will reopen hopefully early in the new year.
