One-Hour Skirmish: Nantes Crossroads

A detachment of French REvolutionary Guards has been dispatched to seize an important crossroad just outside the city of Nantes. The local forces have been pushed back by Royalist farmers and country gentlemen, and only the high walls of Nantes can save the army from complete collapse, but the scattered Vendeeans are converging on the crossroads as well.

NOTE: A commenter helpfully provided one important clue as to why these games go so quickly - figures who move a second and third time on one card have to pay three and five actions respectively. That means taking three consecutive moves on one card costs a single figure NINE actions, rather than three. We'll get it right next time.

It's another fine One-Hour Skirmish played out using John Lambshead's card-driven wargame rules.
