Im 54 years old and have been listening to Classic Rock Hatd Rock and Metal my whole life, and today, 3/8/24 is the first time that I ever heard this group that I can remember. Why are they not played on the Classic Rock Stations? It's amazing to discover a new (old) band lol
ОтветитьMy first concert in Miami 1971. Recorded them on reel to reel Sony and listened to them all the time. Argus is indelibly imprinted on my brain and it's a treasure~
Ответитьthe best twin quitarist of all time
ОтветитьSaw this line up twice, Merriweather Post Pavilion, Columbia, MD and Tower theater in Philly. My favorite band of all time. Great times and memories.
ОтветитьBack in the day ....when Argus came out .....on vinyl .....I bought the album, a friend had recommended it to me .....scrapped together the $5 or $6 I needed to buy it ......got me hooked on Wishbone Ash !!!!! Great group, the dual lead guitars and such .....songwriting, just flat out TALENT !!! Got the earlier albums as well .....still listen to them, never got to see them live but sure enjoy the albums !!!!
ОтветитьI just asked-hinted for the album “Argus” for my birthday in a few days, I hope I get it 🤞.
Just discovered the band way too late, but better late than never as they say. I love them! 🥰
Hab sie noch nie live gesehen unvorstellbar unfassbar ich bin so unendlich glücklich dass man sich das eigentlich gar nicht so in Worten vorstellen kann
ОтветитьUnfassbar ❤️
Ответитьwürde dich gerne mal auf ein Bier besuchen kommen also das werden wirklich grundsätzlicher Traum von mir
ОтветитьFANTASTIC! 10 TIMES OVER!!!!!!
ОтветитьOddly enough this was before they hit us with the now legendary album Argus..Brilliant Band☺☺
ОтветитьGreat band. Should have been a real Supergroup. I was actually in Austin, Texas at an outdoor concert, the inspiration for the song where the sandwich man was murdered for whatever money he'd made.
i wasn't nearby and heard of it by people who'd been there and seen it.
WA didnt have the huge drug scandals like other bands of fhe era, so didnt hit headlines as often. When they did it was because of talent.
Ответитьmistrzowie, piękne lata dla hard rocka
Ответитьthe red plaid pants though!
wtf happened to fashion? 25MAY24
The best band in the world amazing live Mon E Ash get in there ……..
ОтветитьI saw them live I must agree
ОтветитьThey honored the best!
ОтветитьI like the way the they featured the
ОтветитьReal talent
ОтветитьBest live band! And I’ve seen most of them. Best sound guys, too!
ОтветитьLove the drummer in front! Every musician knows!
ОтветитьSaw Wishbone Ash, back on their USA Live Dates Tour, they were AWESOME. Believe it or not, KISS was the opening band and after they played, some people in the 2nd row left and we took their seats. So we saw Camel (the middle band) and Wishbone Ash UP CLOSE!!!
ОтветитьWishbone Ash in their hard rock period were already great. My favorite
are "Phoenix" and "Persephone". One of my favorite band before I've immersed in prog rock and fusion.
The best!!
ОтветитьBassist hairstyle looks like Clapton in johny Cash show 1970
ОтветитьBack in the day they were right up there with Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and Uriah Heep 😎
ОтветитьВпервые вижу барабанщика на переднем плане.
ОтветитьSuch control, such tone and such genuine playing.
ОтветитьThey were really good with the Prog-flavored stuff, but these rocker-inflected tunes of theirs are where they could really shine because they were tight A.F.
ОтветитьThey were with their idea of twin-guitars innovative and wrote many unmistakable songs❗Were my heroes as well❗Don't know how many licks I stole from them❗😅
Ответитьtime was......my fave....entire Argus LP is great
ОтветитьThis is most definitely not "live". Great band though!
ОтветитьPure Greatness - any youngsters who are thinking about playing in a rock n roll band need to check this out.
ОтветитьI don't understand how Rickenbacker got it so backwards: making beautiful bass guitars but ugly guitars.
ОтветитьTop band always have been
ОтветитьBack in the early '70's I was the drummer in Beggars Opera, a very popular East Coast band. We had three guitarists up front doing triple leads. Besides original material and covers of a selected number of Bands, WA was one of our favorites. We would open our show with this number and I sang it. Lots of great memories. This band was WAY ahead of their time.
Ответить'I did the rancher's daughter'
ОтветитьWhat are the greatest bands of all times never talked about as I should be😢😮😮😊❤
ОтветитьWow, funny seeing all those "vintage" guitars all brand new off the rack without a scratch on them. No such thing as "aged" yet.
Looks like they were just all handed a brand new guitar before walking on stage.
So cool that Upton sits up front of the 3 guitarists
These guys are so good
Incredibly good footage
ОтветитьThis is superb. Sounds like a cross between Savoy Brown and JoJo Gunn
ОтветитьCamel opened for Wishbone in ‘74 tour. Talk about getting your $ worth
ОтветитьI was working a sporting event outside of a parking lot when two of these gents asked me for directions for a local music venue they were playing that evening in the early 90s's.
