I’d only consider shop furniture too nice if 1) it was out of your budget,
2) if after or before making it and valuing your time too, you consider it too expensive
3) if it was too expensive in time and money and you didn’t learn anything from the project. Because dovetails could be good for shop furniture if it’s practicing and learning
