my grandmas maiden name is bender 😅 she tells me we are distant cousins of them, but I have yet to find proof!
ОтветитьI remember as a kid reading about this family. Nice u did this and gave more insight on them ❤.
ОтветитьCase suggestion: Theresa Marie Knorr
ОтветитьWith all that money, why didn't the Benders build themselves somewhere to sleep, like wirg two or three bedrooms?
ОтветитьJust imagine how much ppl got away with back then ...and in rural areas even today ..and if your the wrong complexion they might not even look
ОтветитьLoving your videos thank you for making content :)
ОтветитьWhy didn’t people report when they got away to others, even gossip would’ve been helpful to investigate. I have a Clift Chen and they are hereditary, more proof they were brother and sister
ОтветитьThis story needs more digging. I would bet they done similar stuff in other places. Once they knew people were onto them they moved to new location. Find their beginning.
ОтветитьExcellent story Teller ,vile Evil family
ОтветитьHello lovely Sommer, my name is Wai. I promised myself to stop watching horror's, as part "well being & self-care", also dark stories before bed! But here I am addicted & subscribing, yet again like the young Sherlock n Holmes fascinated with your story-telling!🫠🫡
ОтветитьI love how you tell these stories in a respectful way
ОтветитьSome rob zombie kinda case
Its like victorian house of 1000 corpses
My husband is listening too and he said they probably ate them 🙈
Ответить😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
ОтветитьI really like old cases from like the 1700's or before. Idk why it just seems so interesting
ОтветитьI wonder if people were sending people to the Benders & getting paid off 🤔
ОтветитьYeah I was thinking there was more people involved too there would almost have to be
ОтветитьEvery time I hear this story there are so many differences. I’m sure nobody actually knows the true story as it’s been told over the many many decades and the variations and Chinese whispers are endless
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьWhy does Sommer say whenever instead of when? Is that common in the US?
ОтветитьThis reminds me of the tale of the Jarmans from England. The story is around 400 years old now.
ОтветитьI just subscribed after watching this video love the way you present the need😊
ОтветитьCecilia Steyn in Krugersdorp South Africa. Devilsdorp is the documentary. Satanic cult vibes
Ответитьthis is a wild story…. i’m surprised nobody suspected the grocery inn, in the first place, as it was strategically placed on the most popular traveler path…
ОтветитьAnyone else find ol Sommer really sexy and her voice is like Satin
ОтветитьWOW!! That was a great story. I had never heard of this one before.
ОтветитьI love your channel.. are you latina
Ответитьi have just recently found your channel and love it. i do love the cult stuff but the heinous history episodes are my favorite
ОтветитьA 👍Presentation,I have the 🎥' The Family' about the Benders👋
ОтветитьMy uncle lives very close to where this happened and my grandparents lived there before I was born. I didn’t hear about this story until I was an adult but I guess it wasn’t a story for kids.
ОтветитьPrayers for all the victim
ОтветитьDo the story of the cannibalistic Bean family of Scotland.
Big favorite of mine
Very familiar with this one. One psychotic family. There's actually a movie about them on Tubi called Bender
ОтветитьI swear to god this « story » make me thought all along about « Katie » the book written by McDowell ! Anyone is agree with this idea ?
ОтветитьYou are amazing I first heard of this story on Deadly Women but you definitely went above and beyond with your research definitely raised the bar
ОтветитьI subscribed about a week ago and your great storytelling, deep research and respect for the subject matter put you head and shoulders above other similar channels.
I feel informed, hooked and compelled without feeling ghoulish like with some people who treat the subject with inappropriate levity or flippancy.
Please never stop doing what you're doing! 👍
I live in this area, parsons, and we have a really nice breakfast place called Benders. They have omelets to die for. Also the small museum has a pice of the sand stone slab in the entrance.
ОтветитьI knew just by the title that this was about the Bloody Benders! Love the Laura Ingalls Wilder connection (even though I don’t think it’s probably true)
ОтветитьTrap door and slit throats? I wonder if this inspired Sweeney Todd at all?
ОтветитьNot to be that person but this would make a good Netflix series
ОтветитьIf any of you have ever read Laura Ingalls Wilder's books, there is a book by Pamela Smith Hill called Pioneer Girl. It mentions the Ingalls family stopping by the Bender home to water the horses. They didn't have enough money to stay there though, and it's a good thing they didn't or we would have never had those books. The book is about Laura's writing, and one of the stories that she tells is this story. Even as late as the 30s there were some of the members of the Bender family that had never been caught.
ОтветитьThis case reminds me of H.H. Holmes. So sad the evil that lurks in this world😢
ОтветитьThe West Memphis Three or the Oklahoma Girl Scout murders
ОтветитьIt's the "Benders" not the "Binders".
ОтветитьIt's mEn not mIn.... jesus....
ОтветитьWandering not wondering
ОтветитьI can tell you take a lot of time to read the material, then put it into your own words. It takes a lot of time and patience, I'm an electrician work hard long hours. I look forward to my downtime listening to this kind of content. Thank you for what you do .
ОтветитьHer spirit guide was unfortunately a devil
ОтветитьVery interesting
