Off topic, but watching your videos actually inspired me to eat healthier over the road, increase my water intake, and walk around the truck stops in the morning. I've lost 52lbs since April and cleared my skin. Thanks for the inspiration, Miranda. You're beautiful ❤

The barrier of entry is piss poor too. English alone is a requirement or law if you may, so therefore you should have to read a couple paragraphs out loud fluently. Why do we have to use a translator to get something across. It’s crazy the euro’s ( Serbians/ Russians) aren’t even in the USA & are able to dispatch us while also speaking more fluent sentences than the ones who’ve been American residents for YEARS

Had a broker post a load for the next day for $2100. He sent me the same load but made a mistake and said it picks up today, and it pays $2400. Brokers are greedy leeches, and we are a joke to them.

December will see a up tick in trucking and California loads out of Bakersfield areas will go up due to produce from Mexico will reduce over Trumps be reelected. So their will be a light at the end of the tunnel. Fuel is already lowering so give it a little time.

It will improve in a year. Go like hell for a couple years maybe 3 then crash again and everything you made will go right back into trying to maintain until you get thru the next downturn which will be 3 or 4 years then you will start all over again.

As someone with millions of cdl road miles who has been in trucking since 2021 as driver, manager, dispatch, company owner i can say Miranda you are smarter then 80% of this freight experts that are being paid millions for this reports but have no clue what they are talking about. I will correct you if diesel drops down to $1 drivers will not make much more because brokers and shippers will drop their rates imediatelly telling you fuel prices have come down its just common sense in trucking industry problem is when fuel goes up brokers and shippers are not adopting imediatelly then it takes long time for them to addopt when they have to pay more. Also if this winter we got a lot of snow i will not predict i guarantee good paying loads will be in upper midwest where there will be lot's of snow, ice, road closures etc it's allways like that more risk more proffit, many drivers will stay down south where is nice to drive so freight prices will drop on south because of so much trucks and not enough freight it's common sense. I think we are entering recession and only way we can avoid it if next administration can achieve what they promised so we can Kick the Can down the road a bit more before recession. Thank you again for video and everyone be safe out there.

One issue would be the increase in commercial truck insurance offsetting lower fuel cost...a slight increase in rates wouldn't help..

Sooo, I’ve got an issue I need to seek answers on….. please help,,,,, today, Monday…. I got a call for DOT random testing from “former”
O/O position, as I parked My truck 2 wks ago. I pre-employment tested last Monday, as I started a company position last Wednesday. So the text comes in today, for Me to call former dispatch. I’m thinking they heard our concerns as a small fleet. I’m thinking they were going to beg Me back ….. no, they state that I’ve been called for a random…. I remind that I’m no longer pulling loads for them. They say it’s a refusal, and by 4pm today, I have emails from clearinghouse on a refusal…… please advise Drivers and Bosses,,,, much thanks in advance

Dear Miranda, I love your reports, but there is one thing which bothers me a lot. Rate per mile: we are burning the fuel per mile and maintenance cost us per mile....I've been around in the times when load per mile was the same no matter where you go, from Florida or to Florida, from E to W or N to S or other way around.
My point is "market price " is made by brokers and I still see that brokers take 60% or more of the load price. Personally confirmed , maybe not all of them but majority.
Load gets who is faster on the phone or on email not who pays less. Along with other problems that, I would say is number one.

I just do not see rates getting any better for the Single truck Owner Operators. In the game we are the only ones subjected to being outbid by Mega Carriers with Endless Credit like our government with no concern of paying it back. Another factor is they are self insured so they are not paying the 2k a month insurance premiums. I do hope that this new administration brings in better regulations like getting rid of the stupid 70 hours over 8 days and the mandatory 34 hour reset.

Miranda, what if I tell you that in Canada you have more than half carriers not letting their O/O know anything about rates the are hauling loads for?O/O waiting on their pay cheque and pay statements to see how much they were driving for last month.Titanium Transportation Group invented that way and now more and more carriers are following that path so by the end of next year it’s going to be a standard in Canada.
Having said that, what transparency can we expect from the brokers if we don’t have it under our own roof?

IF FUEL WENT DOWN THE BROKERS WOULD STILL NOT PAY YOU UNLESS THEY HAD TO
I HAVE BROKERS POSTING LOADS FOR 500 REGARDLESS OF THE MILES AND HAVE BEEN TOLD BY SOME WE START AT THE BOTTOM AND WORK OUR WAY UP ONLY IF THEY HAVE TO SO WHY WOULD THEY OFFER YOU MORE THATS LESS FOR THEM
YOU HAVE TO STAY ON COMPUTER ALL DAY SOMETIMES TO FIND ONE GOOD LOAD
NOBODY PAYS FOR THAT TIME SPENT LOOKING IF THE TARRIFFS GO INTO EFFECT COUNTRIES WONT SENT THERE PRODUCTS IF NO ONE AFFORD TO PAY
AND THE EXTRA COST OF THE TARRIFFS ARE NOT PAID BY THE FORIGNE COUNTRY THE USA GETS THE EXTRA MONEY ONCE ITS PAID FOR SO DONT FALL FOR THE BANANA IN THE TAIL PIPE YOU BUY A TRUCK YOUR MARRIED TO IT FOR 5 YEARS ANY THING CAN HAPPEN AND YOU WILL BE STUCK WITH A TRUCK THAT WONT SELL

I'm a 54 year old truck driver and been driving since my 20's. We been like this before. When will the market change ? When everyone is saying stay out trucking it's will NEVER COME BACK. Anyone who got in the for temporary will be long gone. If you made it though the last few years. You know you got to cut anywhere and everywhere to stay in the black. The Trump administration is trucker friendly. Or more broadly entrepreneur friendly. Fueling your truck is going to get cheaper and if the so call experts are right with rates 15% to 20% higher. That is all music to all are ears. Until then it's the same song and dance. Watch where your getting fuel cut all idle time as much as possible. And another big one stay off the toll road when it make since.

Shippers and brokers are real reason for this i think it should be shipper to dispatcher to owner operators that's it, no one need brokers. Shippers should pay between 15-30 days driver should get before 15 days then this all mess will be clear.
