Yeah what power did it make? 360p isn't all that helpful... Is it that hard to just write it down in the description?!

The new s1000rr has the same engine they just added stuff that you can buy onkine like value and piston stuff like that the new exhaust gives it about 5hp around there go look it up now the new r1 is completely stock and it makes around 185hp imagine it tuned

Amazing, now if Suzuki can get the GSX-R 1000 back in the game, the last I saw, they made 166hp to the wheel, not weak by any stretch, but in this current crop, it doesn't have to power to match.

That is damn good performance for a stock bike. Now imagine it with a full graves exhaust, Li battery, BST wheels, and a reflashed ECU? You then have unstoppable.

so let me get this straight...the 2014 is "supposed" to have 180 hp...this bike has 184...even if the 2014 had 170 hp, we are talking milliseconds in comparison to the 2015...the 2015 is thousands of dollars more and looks like a Ducati...for what now would you buy this over a brand new 2014 old stock if you had the choice...i would love to hear your responses on why...don't tell me because it is a moto gp bike because it is not...i can put slicks on my 2014 just as well as any other bike can...and even if it were a 10 hp difference, this bike doesn't necessarily prove that it is any faster around a track than the latter...CROSSPLANE NATION out!!!

It's a shame every time manufacturers talk about more HPs but in reality what you do get at the back tire is much less. There is a huge difference between 200 and 184 no?

Thanks for sharing

Hope that engine was broke in before the dyno test. Also, love the battery charger clamp dangling on the left fairing. Abuse for such a wicked awesome machine! Smh

The dyno at JHS racing is very accurate and produces real world BHP and not mickey mouse BHP. Panigale 1299 also put down 184 on the same dyno.

I had my 07 R1 dynoed by JHS, BMC Race Air Filter, PC3 + Akrapovic slip on Carbon cans + decat link pipe - numbers -before 153.21hp, 74.27 ft-lb - after remap - 160.42hp - 77.58 ft-lb - I now own a 2013 R1 - BMC Race Air Filter, PC5 + Akrapovic slip on + decat link pipe - after remap 160.70hp - 77.56 ft-lb figures before unavailable as a base map was put on and original figures were lost - the 13 R1 felt sluggish stock probably 153hp  now feels sweet. I also rode the new 2015 R1 on 15th may my summary is as follows ''Fantastic bit of kit - good for Weekend/Track bike, light, urgent, aggressive front lifting all the time, pulls like you'd expect a race bike it's v fast. I backed off when I experienced what I can only describe as a blurred tunnel vision sensation and some strong noticeable turbulence :) '' - quick shifter is sick - and the bike feels more urgent and responsive it just wants to go - - downsides ride is harsh on the street and rock hard - especially compared to my 13 R1 with Ohlins rear shock, piston kit and springs - stock pads are crap compared to Brembo SC pads (pointless having braided lines with crap pads) - and pillion seat next to non existent - fun toy - worth £15k + with fiance i'm not so sure as 07/09/13 make a better road bike and rear shock is cheap stock crap - my 2 cents worth

anyone can say anything about the r1 but 189 coming out of 5th gear is enough for any stock bike. and hp only means so much in motogp its the corners that mean everything.
