Spoon and Aydin are so far out into the fucking political void with their "libertarian monarchist" ideology, that they're utterly unable to distinguish between the sides in this conflict. Aydin and her Spoon seem so big brained in their world view, and somehow they entirely missed Eastern Europe's view on why we need NATO and why Eastern Europe is so invested in NATO actually working.

Somehow, NATO expanding is important to why Russia is acting this way, but why is NATO expanding means nothing to them.

Adam refuses to accept any context or additional information that conceptualizes Russia as an actual place that exists, instead of the fantasy country that exists in his head.

It feels like Aydin's thoughts are all independent of each other and bear no connection from one to the next. There were several times when she suddenly flipped and argued Adam and Sitch's position, I can only assume because she got a glimmer of understanding of how stupid she sounded. I liked Aydin, but this was really disappointing.

By the logic of these Putin apologist morons, Germany is still a Nazi state. Many Soviet-occupied countries supported Nazi invasions because they were sick of Soviet occupations. They weren't prepared for, nor aware of, Hitler's plan of slaughtering most of the occupants of the Baltic states, Ukraine etc, and replacing them with Germans. The Eastern Front was a horrific mess. People in the Eastern states were forced by the USSR and Nazi Germany to fight against their own countrymen and families. It doesn't mean Nazis are running Ukraine, any more than it means Nazis are running Germany.
