I can only see a melt down. First scrub for 6 min making your skin superdry and then protect your skin with sterile gloves - I guess Semmelweis must laugh his guts out in the sky. Also - lesson nr one - for a pathogenic bacteria to survive they need a skinparticle with sufficient amount of moisture so the bacteria can survive for a short while outside the natural habitate. By rubbing your skin you get dryer and dryer generating more and more suitable partcles for the bacterias = higher rate of transmission and survival so........ A mental brekadown ....

You could have opened the tap after applying the soap , how can you waste the water so carelessly?

I thought the tough bristle part was just for the nails? Using it all over well definitely tear your skin up after every scrub 😯

They just demonstrated the 6 minute scrub technique in 2 minutes

With the gloves you don't lose too much sensitivity during surgery you work well?

Many things done wrong here:
1. The bristle part of the sponge should ONLY be used under the nails. It'll tear up your skin if you use it multiple times a day for multiple surgeries .
2. You're supposed to work from hands to elbows, not going back and forth. Improper scrub technique.
3. You're supposed to open sponge pack, set aside, wash hands and clean under nails with pick, then pick up the sponge, use the bristles under nails, and then scrub from finger tips to forearms to elbows.

Wasted water alot.water is blessing we shouldnt waste it.

This is the weirdest way to scrub in that I have seen. Why would you use the abrasive side of the brush to scrub your entire hands and arms. It’s not about being abrasive it’s about using the antiseptic solution to your advantage to create surgically clean fingers, hands, and arms. Don’t be too rough on your skin.
