Very nice video and collection!👍🏼
ОтветитьPeople! Do Not Sleep on Valiant guitars! Everything is made in house except for tuners and the craftsmenship is unbelievable. They even machine thier own bridges , and even knobs that have multi wood layered faces. Even Sadaowsky is usiing off the shelf bridges and knobs etc. Valiant if made in the USA would be $5-8k+
ОтветитьI just got my only bass from Temu last week. There was a temporary break in the tariff nonsense and I ordered one for $64. I'm 71 years old and just getting started.
ОтветитьWhere can I buy that Armenian fretless bass?!
ОтветитьYou have grown up so much. It's great to see this. I wish I had seen you when you began because it would have been able to see how you've changed over the years in as close as possible to real time.
ОтветитьYOU ARE SO BIG NOW ELLEN!!!!!!! 🥰🥰🥰
AS A MUSICIAN I WISH MY DAUGHTER WOULD PLAY......... ANYTHING AT THIS POINT 🤣🤣🤣🤣
SHE PLAYED THE GUITAR WHEN SHE WAS SMALL FOR A WEEK!!! THAT`S IT LOL
LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!! CONGRATS TO YOU AND YOUR DAD
I've been following you since you were a little girl and now you're becoming a teenager...time flies! Nice collection!
ОтветитьThat 5 String P bass is mad. Nice collection.
ОтветитьIt's Simon Gallup of The Cure's birthday today. Have you covered any Cure songs?
Ответитьgluttony
ОтветитьA very privileged kid.
ОтветитьI'd love to know why, after all this time, you still don't have a Rickenbacker. They are amazing basses, depending on what strings you have on them.
ОтветитьReally enjoyed this video Ellen… you have so many great bass guitars, I was just surprised that you didn’t Mention how many you have in your collection ? It’s amazing how you could remember all the facts and history behind every one, very impressive.
Thanks for uploading and sharing this video with all your fans.
you need the signature on that bass of the best musician you ever met and he's sitting off camera.
ОтветитьI love your Bass collection! My favorites are the Ukrainian, your Dads/your first and the Ukulele.
This is my favorite video of yours. Your stories about each Bass are really fun and truly calm my crazy brain🙏
💯👍
Hey Dad & E have you considered a re-release of “Penny Lane” now that she is older. Besides it’s my favorite E video.
ОтветитьBeautiful collection of guitar 🎸 ❤❤❤
Ответить..... whatever 🤕
ОтветитьWow !! The black with a white pickguard Fender Jazz bass with the maple fingerboard with black markers. I bought that exact same bass in 1973 new. I ordered it at the Music store I was working at. It is one of the instruments I truly wish I still owned. I played it through a 2 15" Sunn Sorado amp. A great bass rig.
ОтветитьRecently discovered your channel as a fellow bass player, I don't play too often anymore, just mostly church gigs, but I played all the time in college. I was the "resident bass player" for singer/songwriter artists when they needed a full band, had my own band too of course. There's always just be "something about playing bass" for me. I play other instruments as well, but nothing has the same excitement for me, you can just do so much with bass. Anyway loves your videos so far and how awesome that you got Victor Wooten's autograph, he's one of my favorites, still trying to figure out how to do that Amazing Grace rendition he did with the harmonics and manually turning throughout the song. Maybe you've done it, I'll have to look :)
Ответитьyes , all of these bass guitar electric's are single ended into the amp. No body does a balanced output from an electric guitar..... and then do a balanced input , in to the amp. you get twice the signal from the pickup's , and natural noise immunity due to the common mode rejection.....
ОтветитьYou should learn to play them all fist and then make videos!
ОтветитьTRUMp kicks a**
ОтветитьIn all your videos you seem to ahve a couple dozen Bass's behind you so At first I thought you were filming at the gitar store, then I thought "well her das a musician so most of them are probably his"... It absolutely blows my mind that at 12 years old you have eailt 2 for every years of your liife, with a different purpose and a story behind each one.
Ответитьwait wait, I forgot to count. I didn't think it would be so many so I didn't try yo couny now after at least a dozen and more to go, I'm confused. rather than go back and rewatch the whole video and count them, I was hoping I could ask someone who was counting, How May Are There?
Update: I went back through it, just hitting the right arrow and counting, and I counted 26. At least 2 for every year of your life. Amazing. How well you play is amazing enough, having at least 26 Bass's is crazy amazing for anyone your age, regardless of how well you play.
Great video here, you have allot more basses than your gear review video several years ago.
ОтветитьGo Kiddo, Go!!!!!
ОтветитьKeep up the progress and good work. You are going places! The Bass Rocks!
😊😊😊
Interesting, but no contrabass?!? (aka double bass, Bass, upright bass, string bass, acoustic bass, acoustic string bass, contrabass viol, bass viol, bass violin, standup bass, bull fiddle, doghouse bass, and bass fiddle) =D
ОтветитьAwesome..!!!
ОтветитьI'm thinking Ellen has more basses than Hovak has guitars lol. I counted 20.
ОтветитьYour sarcasm kills itself
ОтветитьNot gonna lie, that orange Valiant is awesome looking! 😎😎😎
ОтветитьThanks Ellen for explaining the multi scale or fan fret bass. Now I understand it a little better !
ОтветитьI luv u babygirl...please play leper messiah from metallica...Godbless u ellen...❤❤❤
Ответить🎸👍
ОтветитьAwesome collection, I have a Ernie ball music man stingray, amazing bass!! Spector basses are very nice too and Spector have a great range of USA, European and Korean built models.
I have a Korean Spector legend 4 and the action is very low and fast, I love it!! Keep on bassing Ellen. I hope your signature bass gets Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers signature on it one day.
Thanks for your music, bass is the best instrument ever!!
Hello, i thank you for All the Videos. Give neuer up for the love for the Musik 😊😊
ОтветитьHello, I saw that you can't comment on the latest video. Anyway, I hope that Ellen, for whatever reason, never loses her love for music. Best wishes from everyone in the world.
ОтветитьI play a Rickenbacker and it's the only bass I need to play whatever song or type of music I want to play. I don't need 50 basses to validate me.
ОтветитьWould love to see you interview and possibly collab with Henrik Linder from Dirty Loops- his style is so innovative!
ОтветитьGreat tour. You are such a great young lady......
ОтветитьDo you prefer short scale bass? I was looking to learn on the Mikro, I'm on the shorter side and probably have small hands but idk. Currently playing a Glary full scale to learn and its just about as big as me lmao. I play drums but new to bass. I can only pull of Nirvana's Polly at the moment but im really enjoying it. Love your videos. Love from NY
ОтветитьIt was pretty cool to hear the story about your fan giving his bass after he retired. I think that I can relate.
ОтветитьYes Yes
ОтветитьI'm so glad even the amazingly talented get bitten by Gear Acquisition Syndrome!
ОтветитьBeautiful collection. I too started on an Ibanez 35 years ago. 👍🏼
