Man, this one hit me in the heart. It's reminds me of my aunt, who is an incredibly giving person and donates more than anyone I know. Sometimes her kindness is taken of advantage of, and it makes my blood boil. Thank you guys for saving her $980,700. You dramatically changed her life for the better. The scammers don't stop after 1 success. Thank you, thank you, thank you Nicholas and Universaldispute on the internet team. You guys are heroes to me. I'm just so happy this dudes is coming back stronger than ever and i can't begin to express how excited i am for the future jobs. i love these guys so Dearly

How can people be so gullible? Have they just been taught to summit to athority without question?

If banks take on the responsibility of stopping these transactions, everytime they fail they'll get sued. There needs to be government regulations to stop this.

Continue doing what your doing. My wife works at the bank and tells me all the time of elderly people coming in after getting their money stolen. It's sad to see and hear.

There are people who wire large sums of money daily so how can he blame the bank? And Elder Abuse? They are old enough to know better to just send such a large sum of money like that especially considering how the ordeal started. Be Responsible!!!

Why would you wire 700k to Hong Kong for an Amazon refund. I feel bad for scam victims but there is only so much one can do with this level of incompetence.

First mistake - the letter said "Dear Amazon Customer." Old people are sitting ducks. And "access to their computer?"" Even their genius daughter thought that sounded normal. This poor couple didn't have a chance. This old guy was adamant about wiring hundreds of thousands of dollars to these scammers. Old people should stay away from computers. They are waaaaay too unsophisticated. sad.

This was a scam, not fraud. So the bank can't do a thing.

Banks should find a way to freeze any large transactions by at least 24 hours (business days) and talk to the customer about coming into the branch before proceeding with anything else. Verify everything in person, every branch should have a fraud expert. This is just too easy and too often now.
