Atmospheric DnB with a Tiny Hardware Studio Setup

picked up another small 90s mixer to add to the collection. I was just testing it and made a quick track titled "sixth world". all sounds coming from the access virus C, toraiz sp16, and emu audity 2000 (with XTREM ROM).

track was mixed on a spirit folio lite from 1994. i bought the mixer as broken because the seller didn't have a power supply so they couldn't test... but due to my small 90s mixer addiction, i had a couple of spare spirit power supplies... and one of them worked! monitor out is broken, but still has a mix out that works perfectly. these 90s spirit mixers are really great for smooth beats! pushing the gain doesn't make it phat and boomy like a mackie, but it still sounds pretty cool. definitely has a vibe.

the audio is recorded directly from the mixer, no mastering or anything like that.
