Do u think I should go back to D7500 ...I have a sony a7iv?
ОтветитьLove this camera I upgraded from a D3500 and its compatible for all my lenses an all rounder indeed and yes i agree it makes the D3500 feel like a toy.
ОтветитьI bought it with the18-140mm zoomlens. I am very satisfied and it produced excellent results.
ОтветитьI'm pretty happy with my D7500
ОтветитьOver the years I've had several Nikon cameras, from the days of film. I bought a 2nd hand 7500 a few years ago, and it does everything I want. From my 35mm up to the 200-500, the results are excellent. I'm not a professional, just an amateur with years of experience. As much as the new mirrorless or full frame Nikons appeal, I'm happy with my 7500.
ОтветитьGreat Camera!! I use it for Wildlife with the Sigma 150-600 Contemporary and the Nikon 70-300 dx. 😃
ОтветитьWow! Your Photography, Your Paintings, Your video all TOP NOTCH! GOD Bless
ОтветитьThe 51-point 3D AF tracking of the Nikon D7500 is still a jem, with me using her for all my AF-D lenses today!
ОтветитьThanks very much for a good review. I am thinking of upgrading from my D7000 that I have had for 12 years to the D7500. Your video helped confirm my decision.
ОтветитьMany more of us will be crying back for this camera.
Ответитьi recently buy it, thanks excelent video
ОтветитьThanks for this comprehensive review of the D7500. I recently purchased a D7500 for my niece. She is a budding photographer and has been using her D3500 for a while (and getting some great images). I wanted her to have a camera with controls that would be easier for her to get out of the automatic modes. I shot the D7200 for about 3 yrs and loved it. And the D500 for a couple of years. I felt the D7500 would be the ideal upgrade for her.
ОтветитьHave it and love it! I upgraded from my D5200.
ОтветитьDid follow you and watch your video because im about to buy the d7500 to shoot landscapes and portraits day and night at 1000 euro and 1000 for lens and 2 batteries with 2 cards to change in 1 slot and shooting in new and jpg instead raw its not a problem for me because ill shoot natural photos without the need of change something from lr or other outstanding camera i saw from near on what it can do and what we can accomplish now in the year 2024 its value for money
ОтветитьForgotten? …still selling well!
ОтветитьI just bought one in MINT condition from Roberts/UsedPhotoPro for $737USD shutter count 250! Moving up from the D5500. I was torn between the D7500 and the D500. However, the capabilities are so similar that the size and weight were the deciding factors.
ОтветитьThanks for the video, it helped me take a call. There's one more point, your painting is also great
ОтветитьWim, I agree with all you say about the D7500 camera. The only weakness I've found is the AF, as I like to do BIF, whenever possible. A D500 is then a better choice!
ОтветитьMuy bellas fotografias, que calidad increible de la Nikon
ОтветитьThank you for the informative video! I have a camera like that. Unfortunately, there are few professional videos on how to use it. Photography professionals tend to discourage the use of this camera.
I think that compared to the d500 there are some software bugs that Nikon does not acknowledge.
For example, when the rear focus button is set to focus priority, the shutter button can be used to take a shot even if the subject is out of focus. Back focus priority only works well by default when the shutter button is pressed halfway.
Should i buy this in 2024?
ОтветитьAm in love with it though I want to change the lens
ОтветитьThank you for this insightful video. I am looking to purchase a D7500 in April of 2024 to use for shooting reference for my illustrations (primarily dogs and cars for now) and then to digitize the final, 24"x36" or larger color pencil drawings to use as final art for commercial offset, 4 color printing. My question: is the D7500 still a good camera for this work in 2024? my budget is only $1,500. US so it fits perfectly within it. Thank you for sharing your incredible work and knowledge. I look forward to your response.
ОтветитьI’m coming from a Panasonic FZ-80, and thinking of upgrading to the Nikon D7500, mostly for bird photography. My cousin uses one and gets amazing results. I’m hoping the learning curve won’t be too steep!
ОтветитьD7500 or z50? I would like to upgrade my d5100😉
ОтветитьI too started with a D3500 from Cosco. After awhile I wanted a camera with back button focus and a tilt screen. I chose the D7500 with the 18 to 140 kit lens and am very pleased. I feel I will never master all that this camera has to offer. With the Signa 100 to 400 itis outstanding.
ОтветитьI have Nikon d 7500. Can you recommend some lenses suitable for her? Thank you
ОтветитьHello, I had a D7500 from 2017 to 2023. It was the best camera I ever had. I am very sad, that I sold it. The sensor is the same like in the Z50, ZFc, Z30 and the imagequality is the same too. That means, that the technique is still aktual, but the Nikon F-Lenses are better then the Z-DX-Lenses. I had 10 F-Lenses, but i used in 95% the Nikkor A-FS DX 16-80 F2.8-4. The D7500 with this Lens is an "universal gun" for fotographers. Please make not the same mistake i did. Never sell this faboulus camera. At this moment I have a ZF, but I had a Z6II and a ZFc. But i am not as happy with all these cameras as i was witch the D7500. Greetings. CH
ОтветитьGreat camera !! I pair with a 70/200 2.8 , some great shots.
ОтветитьJust purchased my d7500. Had a Nikon d40x. super light weight. This isn't much heavier. I do car shows, NHRA, Formula drift, IMSA cars, I have big lenses but intend to upgrade. This review was very informative.
ОтветитьMy D7500 has just made the 372,000 shutter mark. Still going as well as the day I bought it.
ОтветитьJust shot motocross Yesterday with my d7500 and 70-200 2.8 :) group focus 1600 and Up shutter speed auto iso.. still a dam good little light camera when you are shooting for over 8 hours only went through one battery in over 3
K images
A superb camera, truly worth having in my opinion.
ОтветитьHello, I have had this camera for 7 years and I love it!!!! Since I've used it a lot, it's already very worn out and I've dropped it several times, but it still works. Now in 2024 I want to buy it again, although mirrorless ones are in fashion now, I am in a strong dilemma whether to buy it again or buy a mirrorless one? I think the mirrorless ones are going to continue selling, but the D7500 may be the last chance I have to get it again. But yes this camera, I love how it takes videos and photographs.
ОтветитьThinking about this as an upgrade from my d5300 to use with my Sigma 150-600mm lens.
ОтветитьI moved from D40 to D7500... fantastic...
ОтветитьThank you. Am about to buy Nikon D7500
ОтветитьAs a photographer using the Nikon D5100 and D3300, I have been considering upgrading to either the D7200 or the D7500, given their comparable prices in my region. After much deliberation, I am leaning towards the D7500, primarily because I find mirrorless cameras less appealing.
Mirrorless cameras often suffer from lag and slower response times, which can be frustrating. Additionally, the AI-driven features in many modern mirrorless cameras can sometimes feel like they take control away from the photographer, causing further delays due to rendering times. In contrast, DSLRs like the D7500 offer more immediate feedback and greater reliability in various shooting conditions. Even smartphones, despite their advanced software, cannot match the quality of a DSLR's objective lens, which is crucial for capturing high-quality images.
In summary, while mirrorless cameras are advancing, they still have a way to go in terms of performance and user control. The Nikon D7500 stands out as a robust and reliable choice for photographers who value quick response times and traditional DSLR advantages. This review by Wim Bals provides a thorough exploration of the D7500's features, helping photographers make an informed decision about their next camera purchase.
Wim, do you think the D7500 is elderly compared to the Z series of cameras, or does it hold up just fine against them? Never mind video, I mean just for photography.
ОтветитьI have a Nikon D3100 and it has served me very well. But I am considering upgrading to the D7500 but I am wondering if the 7500 can use the same camera lenses as a D3100.
ОтветитьI have a D3100 and want to upgrade, I also have a number of lenses I love using in my D3100 so would love a camera I can keep using them on, which I'm sure I can do with a D7500? I'm an enthusiast learning my craft with photography, would you say the D7500 is a good step up to keep learning and improving? Thanks, really enjoyed the video
ОтветитьD7500 or my d7200? 24 or 21 mpx is better image quality? D7500 is a very best alternative APS-C dlsr or buy old d750 for video and LCD flip screen?
ОтветитьMy nikon lens 180 ed and 28-105 already function on d7500?
ОтветитьI already have a 140 camera lens, but I'm going to start learning how to take portraits, so which lens is worth recommending
ОтветитьRecently bought the Nikon D7500 with kit lens 18-140mm lens at $880. Loving it. Battery capacity is 2200mah in EN-EL15b battery. Great battery
Ответитьestoy entre la z50 y la D7500 cual me compro?
ОтветитьThis month i was planning to purchase this and your information helped me a lot.
Thank you.
Love mine and continue to use it professionally as well as for fun.
ОтветитьI am thinking about buying it
ОтветитьThanks so much for this review. I've been thinking about which camera to buy and Ive found your review of the D7500 to be tremendously helpful in making my choice.
