Stock ehaust on thie bike is only quiet when at idle or at rest. The exhaust valve opens up and actually becomes one of the loudest stock exhausts I've ever heard. Odd you would complain about it when most profsssional reviewers note this fact

I love my 2017 cbr sp,size wise feels like a 600cc,but equipment wise,ohlins,quickshifter with auto blipper ,brembo,i know these things are a personal choice,but Honda's are usually bombproof!

Idk man I see lots of these bikes lowered and stretched, just basic bolt ons and a tune and they keep up with the best of them with ease when it comes to straight line performance. It has the shorter wheel base to allow for tighter cornering, hard braking at apex without low siding. These hondas at the track are usually much faster than the BMWs/Kawi’s everyone praises so much. I’ve ridden all of them and can attest. Actually just this past weekend the guy who ran the fastest lap BY FAR was on a 2019 cbr1000rr stock besides quick shifter, exhaust, and copy/paste tune. It had 22k miles on it and was just destroying the competition. Not saying you’re wrong, just saying that all I see is satisfaction and top placements coming from these Hondas. It feels lighter/more agile than my 07 Cbr600rr and that’s the lightest production 600cc made until very recently

Wait till you get your new bmw you will be crying when the engine pops and they won’t cover it under warranty, also the variable cams are unreliable and put the bike in limp mode.
The best bmw is the gen 2 by far and only one to own.

I’m an owner of a 2015 CBR1000RR (which in many ways is the same bike as the 2023) with almost 18K miles. I’ve had ZERO issues. Its fast, light and reliable. So, it’s hard to take you seriously when you give it a 3.5 out of 10. I’ll have to pass on the sub.

I have a 2017 one of these. I have left it standard! No messing around with the bike apart from having Michelin Tyres!... I looked at the R1 ZX10R and the GSXR I have owned all three before in various forms over the past 22 years. These bikes are all similar in BHP etc... I picked the Honda on build quality only as I like all the sportsbikes. I have been riding motorcycles 40 years now and Honda have always been the best built throughout all the years!

I used to ride an R1... Was thinking about getting another used R1 (2014-2017) or a brand new CBR (now I see why so many local shops are selling them for $14k new)... This vid answers alot for me...

been shopping around for a newer cbr1000rr and appreciate the insight. im sure that its probably slower than the other bikes in the garage but i would bet diamonds to doughnuts the cbr is a lot faster than you are. not trying to be disrespectful in any way. enjoy the nice toys, im secretly jealous. ive been riding the same 08 since 2011.

man sorry for your issues, I have a 2018 cbr 1000rr flashed by more.... im smoking r1's and r6 man its great Ifeel like the BMW is great but all the electronics wont make a better rider or more fun I feel like the BMW is the cool thing to have now kinda like the starbucks in the world LOL best of luck and ride safe!

It’s 40hp off those other bikes. You simply bought the Honda for the wrong reasons. They are very easy to ride.

I also don’t think ANYONE needs the M1000RR unless it’s a strict track bike. I have the 24 S1000RR M and it’s almost identical to the M1000 minus the carbon fiber and titanium internals. Def not worth an extra $15k

It's not really a fair comparison, you bought the top model of every other bike you mentioned, they are ten thousand dollars more if not more.I guarantee you wouldn't feel the same way if you had gotten the 1000rr-r SP 2.

why didnt you consider the 2024 Honda CBR 1000RR-R SP? The motor is completely different and it has 212HP.

I wanted a r1 but i found a good deal on a cbr 1000rr 2017+ and what a excellent bike its so light and nimble and after a tune its got a perfect amount of power.

Ok let me start here for one I live Honda as a car company one reason I havnt went Honda moto way compared to my r1 which I have had no issues with and its a 14 year model just cracked 30k miles and runs amazing never a checked engine light in 10 years and that’s one thing I’ve heard is check engine lights going off….so I am buying a 25 r1 soon as they hit showroom floors…now come this video my issue with the thought about plastic issue is you bought this whole bike for the money you say is not worth it knowing all the plastic on it if that’s the problem. You did not look into check engine light problems before buying bike it’s just kinda odd to buy a bike then complain about it when you could have done all this homework and avoided the purchase
