It's the worst time ever. Real estate in Miami is tough & you can only get in if your part of a clique of some sort (connection$). It's NOT easy & people don't understand the competition to get listings. Most brokers have an area & the exclusives. Someone needs to help you get your foot in the door. (PALANKA). I don't think Katie's weight has anything to do with her not being successful in RE. I live here in NYC and the lady who helped me find my apartment was plus size like her. The lady's weight didn't matter to me. What was important was how she gave me the feeling that she was really invested and on it in finding me an apartment i really liked and she was relly good at what she did. No katie doesn't have to be a "scumbag", too many of those in this world as it is, and in the end it gets you nowhere. She however has to keep it in the back of her head that in the RE field is full of wolves and be ready to respond as need to the wolves that she will encounter.

Jose. I live in Naples. The market has majorly slooooowed since late last year. My community usually has houses sell so quickly, for a good amount of $$ over purchase price. Since October, most are sitting. It’s crazy.
If Katie cud keep her eye on the SW FL Real Estate Market - that would be helpful. She can update everyone on trends and etc.

Our Real Estate Agent even said that it’s very tough right now. Especially with the new commission laws that just took effect.

Hey I'm in a similar type of business, I wholesale real estate in Florida and I have closed +500 deals over the last 7 years. My advice is to just focus your entire day on cold calling people to try to sell their property. You can do vacant land, it is a lower barrier to entry. Also, focus on the positive. It is not that hard if you give it your all. Also, don't be a victim, it's not healthy. And don't talk down to your wife like this, especially not in public. Just trying to help.
