Moana is the most streamed movie in terms of ALL platforms over the last 5yrs, nothing else comes close! So given Moana 2's lukewarm critics' reviews, will be so interesting to see the audience reaction re the usual metrics of CinemaScore, RT & PostTrak scores & if they have any effect on its Box Office.

This was going to be a TV show, so maybe the ending is like that because it was actually the season finale.

If you're keeping track of scores, Alonso would still rather be watching Red One.

this was meant to be disney+ series no? So they might have structured it for that. I didnt love the first Moana

Interesting to bring up Inside Out 2 as the example of the film that “takes risks and does something new with the character” considering I found it, like Moana 2, to basically be a much worse retread of its predecessor.

Wondering if I should see this

No thanks to this, the animation to me is not impressive, the style in which the characters look just doesn't do it for me.

Moana part 1 is good

You can see even in the trailers that the visuals are TV budget level which is how this movie started out as a TV show. This is not state of the art or pushing the boundaries in any way.

I cant hear Wayfinder without thinking of Rise of Skywalker. That movie ruined the word forever for me, sorry!

Rewatch them back to back. It's about her getting older and freaking out and not knowing how to deal with it. Literally the same movie twice but everybody loved that crappy movie too. I mean I'm not going to say it's crappy but it was overrated as hell

Rewatching “Moana” since it’s the most watched film on Disney+. It’s certainly charming but hard to understand the huge repeat viewing #’s.
