The top of my flip z6 got wet and it went black on me mid use. and of course none of my pictures got backed up because I didn't have wifi on. i just want the pictures off of it... i have to get a whole new phone now, huh?? and pictures are lost?

Its a flex until you start having mini expensive problems. All my phones go more than 4 years. This one not even 6 months. The first four days the screen was white

well, i haven't tried the last one (the freezer method) but all others did not work. My phone is half black screen on top and half orange yellow on the bottom but having a hard time finding videos for this. Had the phone just a little over a year.

Mine inner screen still black. Outside showing. Logo appear outside when I does the steps. The phone became black after os update. 😢

Flip 6, barely two months brand new and having this issue! None of this worked!

I know this video is over a year old but thank you for the tips. I tried the freezer method after the others didn’t work. It worked! I did notice the upper part of the phone was warmer then the other part. And putting it in the freezer for 15 mins helps cool it down. Waited another 15 before pressing the start button. Screen appeared!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! I was totally distraught, and then I tried the first round of all 7 fixes. Nothing. EVen more distraught. Tried all 7 fixes a second time... SCREEN TURNED ON!!! I will still be pursuing a repair/replace/refund, but this has given me the ability to back up all my data!!

Thank you for this video! I'm going to keep trying. At first when he said to tap the phone with 2 fingers after doing this 3 times already I was like... What am I doing this isn't going to work then boom all of a sudden the screen turned back on!!! I was so excited, however I turned the screen off and now I'm back to a black screen ;( ... I'm putting it in the freezer now going to keep trying. None the less it did fix it for a little so keep trying these methods if your having this issue. might get lucky!

I heard its a manufacture defect of the "digitizer".
Anyone here had this issue repaired?
If so, was there any guarantee from the technician that it would last longer or anything? Will the "digitizer" just eventually fail again is my main concern about repairing this phone 😑

Originally, the black area on my screen was only in the middle where the fold is. However, after trying these seven methods twice, the black area spread across almost the entire screen—especially when I massaged it, which seemed to make it worse by expanding the black margin. Does anyone have any suggestions? I’m really starting to hate foldable phones now...
