He was sick as f, you'll see nex time. Just so u know he fought with a staphylocoque...He was under antibiotic the all week. First thing I said to myself when I saw the fight was "why he fight without energy" I never saw him like that.

You got beaten BSD stop the excuses. It's not because you were tired, it's because Poirier is one of the best striker and tired or not you would have go to sleep anyway. I don't understand the hype about this guy, he did not face anyone before Poirier. Wait he gets the Gaethje, Holloway, Makhachev, Covington, Chandler and even Hooker.

He did look way slower than usual even though he have it his all in the first round because he is used to work in less than optimal physical conditions. This wasn’t a good cocktail with staying in the pocket against Dustin Poirier..

Frustrating for him it must be. And for us, not seeing him at 100% to get a 4/5 rounds fight.
He gave all he had in the 1st to try to make it happen. 2nd was to hard as a result... He won the 1st but he loses the fight giving all he had...
Credit to DP for survinving the 1st. It was all he had to do to win the fight in the end.
I feel we won't see a DP vs BSD number 2, Poirier is getting old and he want a title shot, he does'nt want a BSD at 100%, in two years, at 36...

Despite his loss to Poirier I still believe BSD is gonna be a real contender in the LW division soon..the lack of experience is his only weakness leading to his loss against Poirier..Poirier himself felt the strength of this man and pointed out in the post match interview..this guy has it all..he will improve and is in fact a real tough guy.

This guy has way to much hype, hes a decent fighter but he needs alot a work if he cant finish a guy on the ground with all those opportunities and cant fight in the poct and dont have the power you need to get back to the gym get stronger. Talk to oliviera on how to find some power, but hes not got the power to knock guys out that got chins. And every fighter is hurt when they fight stop with the staph excuses. You need power and grappling finishing. I hope you learn from this learn what u need to and come back maybe fight fizaz ao tsurukian. But those two guys got knock out power too. I wish u luck bsd and would love to see you prove us wrong. You got the basics, maybe a team change. Go to russia for some samba and trevor whitman for power and plavement/ foot work
