I've been meaning to go back to the bins in Bellmawr, NJ and this is the motivation I need, not that I'm expecting to get anywhere close to that lucky!!! Fun video once again. Chanel.. what a dream. I found a vintage Louis Vuitton bag in a small town Goodwill store in Washington state. I paid $40 for it and I wasn't sure it was real, but i had it authenticated. I ended up selling it and making a profit of $600 ! My best, most surprising find ever. I figure some guy was cleaning out his grandma's estate, knowing nothing about any brands, and just thought that ugly brown bag is going straight to Goodwill! (this is the story in my head).

I would be interested to know if it is authentic. If Chanel is like LV and you desire repairs they will ask for pics of the bag of repairs and they authenticate unofficially but If it’s real they will agree to repair but if it’s not they will decline to work on the item.

Chanel at the bins?!! Whoa. I recently found a Christian Dior wool trench coat at my small, hometown goodwill for $8. And in my size! I was on FaceTime with my bestie when I noticed the tag. DROPPED my phone and was shaking so hard I couldn't pick it up. She was so bummed it was my size and not hers. Im not great at math, but an $8 Christian Dior Coat is FREE. PERIOD lol

Well, this is the motivation I needed to go BACK to the bins! Wowza! This is def a once in a lifetime moment and I’m always amazed at what people discard. A few months back I found a vintage coach at a resale shop for $70 which I thought was high. I went home and saw one had just sold on the coach website for $700. I ran back the next day and snagged it!

I used to pick up odd vintage like that golf top but it seems that I do not know what vintage appeals to buyers, so I have cut back. I do need to check out your bins next time I'm in LA. Last time I did Panorama City and while it was very chill, it was not impressive at all. Bummer the price went up , ours did too. It does slow my purchasing down because I tend to favor heavy items, like boots and leather jackets. So a pair of heavy leather boots could be $10, though sometimes they'll cut a break and give a unit price. Is Clare V related to Roger Vivier? Wow congrats on that Chanel bag!

A couple of days ago in my favorite honey hole way far away from where I live in one trip at one Christian thrift store I found a vintage Balmain men’s trenchcoat and a vintage Christian Dior trenchcoat. The Balmain was wool.

I found a Moncler virgin wool coat in a plus size from last season. I paid 7.99!
