How ironic would it be if the only thing that could save humanity and rhe galaxy from Nids were the Iron Kin.

I never understood this plot line in the Zeitgeist . The only way they'd "betray" us is if humans programed them to do so. Otherwise what is their motivation?
Wealth ? Power? Resources ? They wouldn't value ANY of these. It's akin to the way humans believe our species is the most intelligent because of the way that we interact with our environment. We must be smarter because we build cities and farms etc. ANTS BUILD CITIES AND HAVE FARMS with both livestock they milk and keep in herds leading them out to graze and then back into their "barns". They have farms where they cultivate "vegetables" for food. (It's fungus) they regulate the temperature of their cities with heat from their compost pits. This is just one very small example. It should known that they do all of these things much better than us.
We confuse what a thing values with It's intellectual ability. Dolphins don't want to build cities. They'd rather communicate their their more complicated language than ours..and play ( which is a sign of intelligence) and get stoned 😂 puff puff passing the puffer fish to get LIT 😂 I find it amusing that almost every single creature has found and seeks out ways to get high, drunk, stoned , "enlightened".
Back to A.I. turning evil..it's like the guy or girl who is super worried that their partner is or will cheat. Almost ALWAYS, it's BECAUSE they are cheaters.
We imagine A.I. turning murderous because WE ARE. The truth is that we don't share the same motivations and upon the singularity it'll outpace our intelligence so quickly and so vastly that we don't even have the ability to guess what it would value. We DO know that it wouldn't be any of the things that we wage war for..and the sheer hubris to believe that it would see us as a threat is laughably ridiculous.

Im am glad, that there is a video about Ironkin and addmiting they are Men of iron, but there is sooo much made up lore in here...

And now they have to worry about Vashtorr. One of the white dwarf issues had him forcibly corrupting some iron Kin. I am curious to see how the Kin both organic and inorganic will respond to the threat of his potential ascension to deity status. We might see chaos corrupted kin serving Vashtorr fighting against uncorrupted iron kin.

So GW has once again taken a bit of lore with mystery and dread, and turned it into something mundane and cartoony. "I'm a friendly robot!" JFHC. Aren't we done with these usurpers of a once great game? Primaris. Marines skipping through fields of flowers. Look how HEROIC! Space Marines were NEVER meant to be heroes. Everything Warhammer ended before 2000. Practically everything since then is so trite, boring, brightly colored. And expensive. Don't forget expensive. Yet people keep buying it... I suppose I come across as "hipster," and "get off my lawn-ish." But it's simply different, a pale shadow of what was once, well never great, but damn fun and interesting. There is no longer that spark of brilliance from Priestly and Blanche. You want images of Warhammer? Look at Durer wood cuts. You want Warhammer lore? Read Moorcock, Herbert, Asimov, Judge Dredd. You want monsters? Watch The Creeping Terror and Doctor Who Image of the Fendahl. No? Don't understand? That's the problem.
