I know it's a tall order, and sometimes ponytails or loose hair is all you CAN do, but I was just wondering if you new of any cute vintage dos that could get wet as well. Thanks. :)

What a great look! I can't believe how simple it is to make a ringlet from your ponytail! I always thought people did that by styling their curls a certan way but turns out they're just brushing out on their thumb :) Great tutorial! Oh, one question, how long did you have to leave your sponge curlers in?

@mrsmarinewife1 Not necessarily. I don't see much difference in most drugstore hairsprays. Aqua Net works great too! haha

@beautyinmusic It's difficult to say. the difference could be anywhere from how much hair you're rolling in each section, to lack of product. to hair length, to hair texture. Keep trying, altering your technique a little each time. You will get it. :)

@Gianandria95 Check out Lauren Rennells book called Vintage Hairstyling'. There is a pin curl tutorial for shorter hair! I am not quite ready to go that short and none of my friends have short hair, currently. :(
