And this is why the rankings make no sense. Reyes is going to get into the top ten by beating Krylov, who hadn't fought in over two years. How can he realistically be considered the number 8 guy right now if he hasn't been tested in 2 years? Krylov is actually a beast, but that rust is real sometimes and may have given Reyes yet another advantage in his recent pairings. I would love to see Reyes make it back to the title, but I think these recent wins may give him rose colored glasses looking ahead to top ten competition. There are some real buzzsaws he could run into if he's seriously considering another title run.
