Try using coconut oil and aquaphor ointment. It helped healed a severe irritation around my scrotum area. It took many weeks of applying the treatments along with recording (by writing) data of progress. And watch out for the yellow powder, it made my condition worse.

Someone said fungus infection caused by poor blood circulation in the first place.

I treated mine with petrol fuel by dropping it a small amount and rubs it all around the infected area. Its painful and sometimes excruciating but its 100% effective.

I have had tinea for 10 years now. I have spoken to doctors about it. In a severe case I was admitted to hospital. I can manage it with Paw Paw ointment, at best I can get up to 5 days of relief before it comes back. I have tried everything from Hydrogen Peroxide to bleach, nothing works effectively.

I suggest the best remedy. It works for me but cannot claim it will work for you.
1. Keep it clean
2. Wash with soap and water
3. Dry it well
4. Wait for the itch.
5. Then scratch like hell

My friend get some guava leaves and boil it and then put it in your jock itch area easy.

I used Apple cider vinegar once a night. It doesn't burn. Get some cotton Wattepads that women use for removing make-up. Put a spoonful of vinegar on that Wattepad and rub it on your jock itch. Sit down on a towel for 15min and then go shower. OR leave the vinegar on overnight with a clean pair of boxers.

Buy 4x small towels that you can use to sit on or to wipe yourself dry after a shower. Dont use your main towel for the jock itch.

If this doesn't work just try the spray from the pharmacy.
Other things that might work for you:
-mouthwash (with no alcohol)
-eye drops (the ones that stop your eyes from itching).

Does Whitfield ointment also help?
