Dear Kay, I have the same hairstyle (short bob) as you had before, but I’m thinking about getting layers to bring out my waves. The older I get, the more wave and texture my hair gets, but also the frizzier! How do you like your layers, in terms of styling it? I remember when I had layers decades ago, it was tricky to get full curls with a curling iron or hot rollers because of the varied lengths. It looks great on you.

Well....when you are allergic or sensitive to wool (yes, cashmere is wool) it limits many of these suggestions.

I live in north Georgia. And I keep socks on almost daily. It was rainy and cold today. I never used to wear socks. But my ankles are always cold. Great tips. I have a puffer jacket for when it gets cold here. I know it’s not as cold as Ohio. That’s where I moved from.

Love your suggestions, years ago I had my colors done, I am an Autumn, which I kinda knew, as I love the fall colors! I stay with my colors of tans, creams, browns, and purple!

I’d love a video on spring and fall looks for European vacations that include shoes that complement outfits but are also good for spending hours walking. Having a capsule wardrobe that can work for this would be great but, the accomplishment of this seems so daunting to me. Love all your videos I’ve watched so far.

You never mentioned the camisole you were wearing. They really help to keep you warm and smooth things out too.
I live in Canada and always have a couple of pairs of silk longjohns. They are so soft and thin that you can wear them under anything and they really make a difference in keeping you warm without bulk.

Kay, thanks for sharing this video. Excellent information. Red is my main signature color, with royal purple and royal blue the two runners up. I love medium or dark grays as my neutrals. No brown, tan, or beige for me--I look washed out and frumpy. :-)

Merino wool base layer shirts are awesome. I discovered them a few years ago and wear them everyday, even in summer at work where the AC is kept too high! They are a little pricey for me, but the cost per wearing is low since I wear them so often. I'm usually very sensitive to wool and can't wear it on top or near the neck, but Merino wool is very warm and not at all itchy to wear next to the skin. Check them out!
